Fedor Vidal, health technology expert, participated in Tech Talk 2019 event, where he highlighted the role AI has played in health over the past 10 years.

Fedor Vidal was part of the panel “The Future of Artificial Intelligence” at the event organized by a Dominican Republic technology magazine.

Vidal said it is a fact that with AI, human beings will live 100 years. “The idea is that this technology will help us change the wat we interact, and be more human” he said in one of his interventions.

He also said, that there are more than 3,000 active companies in the world, in the AI industry trying to change the wat people interact with their health. Investments of $36 billion for the health industry in AI are estimated for 2025, Digital Health expert said.

"What we are seeing is that eventually, when you enter the hospital, the facial recognition system will know which doctor is yours, so they can visualize your electronic health record, ask the system about your medical history and it will give information about your appointment purpose," Vidal said.

In his interventions he highlighted the advances in telemedicine and implementing projects such as the electronic health record for improving health services.
