Government of Mexico presents COVID-19 vaccination certificate

Last Tuesday, during the conference of the President of Mexico, the COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate was announced by the Ministry of Health (SSa).

The Undersecretary for Prevention and Health Promotion, Hugo López-Gatell Ramírez, explained that the COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate is available through the following link for all people who have received the complete vaccination schedule: https://cvcovid.salud.gob.mx/

“The COVID vaccination certificate is now available and it began to operate since yesterday (July 5). We released him so that the different tests could be carried out by the population, ”explained the undersecretary. "If you want to have official proof that you have been vaccinated, with what vaccine and on what dates, here it is."

To obtain it, the interested person who has already received the complete vaccination schedule must enter the indicated website, write their CURP and directly download the document. The certificate shows the date of the first and second dose, the brand of the vaccine, and the batch of the vaccine, as well as the basic data of the vaccinated person such as the CURP and full name.

In addition, it has a digital seal through a QR code, which will facilitate verification by showing it in other countries and on international flights. The undersecretary explained that the QR code "allows verification in real time by any immigration authority or of another nature, since it takes up the registration of the database of the Government of Mexico."

On the other hand, the registry for people between 18 and 29 years of age, the last age group considered to receive vaccination against COVID-19 in the National Vaccination Strategy, has already been enabled through https://mivacuna.salud.gob.mx/.
