UNICEF has established the strategic plan 2018-2021 and 2016-2030 focused on health systems in the world. The goal is to prevent the morbidity, and therefore mortality, of children and pregnant women through digital tools that are supported by new technologies.

The approach is to have a broad picture of what Digital Health is so that governments and public institutions begin to work with these instruments capable of improving health services.
