The Sitata traveler security app is relaunched with a new Telemedicine feature

New updates within the app will allow greater coverage of potential risks for travelers and virtual consultations for patients in various corners of the world.

Sitata is a platform that assists its users to prevent all kinds of risks while traveling. Through its website and mobile application, it allows travelers to know risks or diseases they can find in countless destinations. In addition, in case of a medical emergency, Sitata provides actual and up-to-date numbers and information of hospitals and other institutions based on the specific location.

Earlier this year, Sitata announced that it would relaunch its platform with new features and additions based on Digital Health. The application has launched a system -in-app- of Telemedicine that has the support of a network of professionals previously selected by a validation system. As a requirement, they should know data on different diseases of certain geographical regions.

This network of experts will have access to the user's medical file where their information and medical history will be presented, so, in an emergency, the patient could be treated by any professional as if they were their own doctor.

The platform offers different user service formats; a doctor could receive them in his office or sometimes even go to a private home. However, the most important advance in the platform is the opportunity to be attended remotely through a virtual consultation. In that case, the patient will have the option to check prices, compare doctors and talk to them through a chat or video call.

For constant travelers and especially those who often visit remote places, this application can represent an important tool that will allow them to travel with better organization and greater peace of mind.

The newly released Telemedicine function will be a great ally for those who seek absolute assurance that wherever they go, they will be backed up in a medical sense.

A price of 59 dollars per year allows users to have access to all the functionalities of the platform that today are a reality thanks to the advances of Digital Health. In Latin America it’s already available in both Mexico and Brazil and you can find more information here https://www.sitata.com
