2018. Digital health resolution. WHO

The World Health Organization (WHO) published the “Draft Digital Health Resolution” proposed by Algeria, Australia, Brazil, Estonia, Ethiopia, Germany, India, Indonesia, Israel, Italy, Luxembourg, Mauritius, Morocco, Panama, Philippines and South Africa.

During the seventy-first World Health Assembly, the resolution on Digital Health was achieved where the resolution of 2005 and 2013 was considered.

It consists of two sections. In the former, Member States are urged to contribute to the use of technologies, implementation and infrastructure to improve health systems. Guide and prioritize the necessary areas of attention. Secondly, it requests the Director General to develop a Digital Health strategy identifying priority areas hand in hand with the Member States.
