The Central American Network of Health Informatics (RECAINSA), presented the dates of its second Digital Health Forum.
Last year RECAINSA held its first Digital Health Forum with the theme Digital Health for All, which was promoted by the international Digital Health Week initiative. The event had five days of activities and the participation of 75 experts.
This year the forum has the theme "Digital Health for a Sustainable Tomorrow" and will take place from October 10 to 14 in virtual mode and, like last year, registration will be free.
RECAINSA chose the theme “Digital Health for a sustainable tomorrow” as it is based on the belief that digital technologies can contribute directly to improving universal access and coverage in health. In this sense, it considers digital transformation as a vehicle to achieve these objectives.
Likewise, this year's theme is related to the sustainable development goal (SDG) No. 3 "Health and well-being for all", which seeks to guarantee a healthy life and promote well-being at all ages to achieve sustainable development. .
