The Government of the province of La Pampa, in the center of the country, announced the re-equipment of hospitals, remodeling and a plan for the decentralization and modernization of the public health system.
The objective of this strategy is to strengthen hospitals throughout the province of La Pampa, through the remodeling of hospitals, installation of new medical equipment that promotes digitization and decentralization of the health system.
The health minister of La Pampa, Mario Rubén Kohan, explained the importance of this strategy, since it improves the quality of services: “it has allowed us to strengthen hospitals and significantly reduce the number of referrals for urgent care and emergencies within the Province. . Today, in any part of La Pampa, we can solve everything in the same place, except when the complexity of the pathology requires another care device”.
Likewise, he explained that the digitalization strategy also has the purpose of transmitting confidence to the population of remote areas of the province. “When we talk about having a ray equipment with the capacity to digitize an image, it tells us that we have the capacity to transport it via the Internet to any place, not only in the Province, but in the world, where someone can analyze it almost immediately. ”, explained the minister.
In this sense, Kohan explained that the ministry seeks to strengthen the importance of this provincial policy throughout the community and stressed that in a territory as extensive as La Pampa, telemedicine is ideal for shortening distances and providing medical care to the entire community. population.
Among the new equipment installed is the X-ray digitizing equipment, a multiparameter monitor, an electrostimulator for the kinesiology service, among others.
