Municipality of Chihuahua offers free telemedicine services

The Municipal Institute for Prevention and Health Care (IMPAS), of the Municipal Government of Chihuahua, provides free remote medical consultation services.

The government of the municipality of Chihuahua announced that IMPAS will begin to provide free virtual medical consultation services, with the aim of reducing the rate of COVID-19 infections. In this way, the Health Care Subdirectorate has implemented the "Medical Teleconsultation" program, which will offer free medical care by video call.

To schedule an appointment for this service, it is necessary to call 072 extension 2260. In this way, the operators will take the patient's data to schedule a teleconsultation, with hours from 8 AM to 8 PM, Monday through Friday.

This strategy, in addition to addressing social distancing health measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, also promotes access to public health services in the locality.

This service does not suspend or replace traditional health care services, it just provides another option to access health care.

For more information, the municipality has enabled the numbers 200-48-00 and 072 in extensions 2259, 2260 or 2261.
