Digital Health in Chile is made up of the clinical information that health centers adhere to the medical records of their patients. Hence the importance that information systems and digital platforms that store data, are a starting point for various specialists to share research, knowledge and projects.
In Chile, exponents from all over the world met to discuss the technologies that handle and work with the clinical information contained in hospitals.
The second edition of the international workshop on applied clinical informatics and data analysis, served as a space for an established dialogue with the intention of updating the ICT ecosystem about the use of digital platforms and software that Big Data can germinate through the Digital Health

The exhibitors will be able to intervene with specialized tools to extract the medical data of each patient safely and thus, provide protection and confidence in the exchange and transfer of said data between servers.
Within the event, the correct way to make use of the technological systems rooted in the analysis of health data in the Chilean country was supported. In addition, the National Center for Health Information Systems (CENS) was announced as the bearer of the Reference Skills Model for Health Information Systems (SIS 2019 v1).
This model combines knowledge, skills and attitudes agreed to become a reference in Digital Health throughout Latin America.
This also cares about the needs and job opportunities of doctors; framing aspects such as management, organization, process construction, interoperability, design, development, transformation and innovation.
