With the aim of promoting a digital culture in the field of medicine, the Peruvian government decided to create an agency dedicated to developing solutions focused on Digital Health.
The government of Peru created a department responsible for developing technological innovations towards an ecosystem directed towards Digital Health and the processes that it optimizes and makes more efficient.
The Government and Digital Transformation Laboratory of the State, will work hand in hand with public and private sector institutions to give greater emphasis to public policies capable of renewing and revolutionizing the digital transformations that the new Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) entail.
With this plan, digital platforms will be tools that provide a fresh and technological advance for the processes that are required in health systems supported by various sectors of society.
The Digital Government secretariat will be in charge of taking control of the project through its own equipment suitable for any computing situation that involves Artificial Intelligence, data and information management, Big data, Blockchain, internet of things, among others.
Thanks to this initiative, knowledge sharing will strengthen all the areas involved in working with machines and programming algorithms to carry out activities automatically and autonomously.
It will mean that the results are produced in a clearer and more precise way in order to cover all the needs of the country in terms of quality of life.
When handling sensitive information and data, security and protection will have to be a primary objective between alliances between public and private institutions, to create interdisciplinary work groups that function as a gear that solves problems and makes decisions together.
