This project was proposed by an international technology company as a measure to travel without risk and achieve safe workspaces against COVID-19.
WISeKey International Holding, a Swiss-based cybersecurity company, created the WIShelter SafePass, a digital passport that seeks to ensure the safety of its users when traveling in the new normal. This passport will provide access to diagnostic results, vaccine information, medical services, among others.
Its distribution will depend in part on the technologies used. In this way, technologies such as WISekey, seek to ensure that the use of technologies is made the most of in order to contain the enormous response required when starting, for example, vaccination campaigns. Just as technologies have been used for case identification, contact tracing, mobility data, epidemiological projections, among others, Digital Health will be important for public health systems worldwide when vaccination campaigns begin.
Through this digital passport technology, users will be able to geolocate users who have a reliable vaccination certificate to know the risks involved in direct contact with others. In addition, the mobile app will have a choice of contact tracking, diagnostics and triage for access to vaccines.
Another important aspect of this application is that it can connect to corporate environments, and thus reduce contagion risks during job meetings, travel, among others.
Each user will be duly registered and their identification information will be encrypted to ensure their privacy.
