This Monday, November 11th, in the state of Nayarit was developed the workshop for the implementation of the Digital Platform in Maternal and Child Health for the strengthening and training of health professionals, and the improvement in the quality of care of people was held , with greater emphasis on vulnerable populations.
The collaboration between the Secretaría of Health of Nayarit and Fundación Carlos Slim will benefit the health professionals of the entity with continuous academic scholarships to study for free and without the need of internet the Diploma in Maternal and Child Healthfocused on the first level of attention with the best national and international practices.
The Diploma course comprehensively addresses the most frequent problems, of greater magnitude and relevance in our population; Likewise, it contributes to the organization of community care and participation networks around pregnant women to prevent complications during pregnancy, childbirth and the puerperium.
The event was attended by Dr. Raúl Santiago López Díaz, Ministry of Health of the entity and of the Dr. Angélica E. Ramos Flores State Coordinator of Maternal and Perinatal Healthwho gave awards to nurses who were credited as MIDO experts through the educational platform Aprende.org, with the purpose of standardizing the processes for timely identification through a MIDO Module and a team called portable MIDO that facilitates the intentional search of high-risk pregnant women in the community and that will be in operation in the 9 Hospitals of the entity.
Therefore, the Ministry of Health of Nayarit will use the Expert Prenatal Assessment System in First Contact Health Units and Hospitals to guarantee the continuity of quality prenatal care.
The Maternal and Child Health Digital Platform, developed by the Carlos Slim Foundation, it allows health professionals to carry out strategic interventions for the benefit of pregnant women and their newborns, guaranteeing the quality of care through Digital Health.
