Elsevier updates to Spanish its COVID-19 Healthcare HUB, a guide to the care of infected patients

The COVID-19 support program includes clinical tools and resources for the care of COVID-19 patients.

Elsevier made available to the general, toolkits for healthcare professionals, which contain first-line clinical tools for patient care.

The platform that can be consulted in the following link https://covid-19.elsevier.health/es#toolkits includes content in:

  • Community care, that includes telemedicine tools for consultation of information;
  • Ambulatory care, which provides resources for care and information outside the hospital context;
  • Emergency care that includes clinical guidelines on medications;
  • Inpatient care, containing clinical resources for patient care from treatment to medical discharge;
  • ICU, intensiveclinical and education guidelines for critical patients;
  • Mental health and behavioral health , which provides support and guidance to clinical teams in hospitals for proper stress management.

It also incorporates update tools for the different scenarios that health professionals can face as the pandemic develops. Includes updates for nursing, medical and pharmaceutical.     

In addition, Elsevier updates daily relevant information through Daily Rounds, which publishes or shares interesting content about SARS-CoV-2 disease.

Finally, Elsevier has a podcast called Expert Analysis that so far has seven episodes, which provides expert knowledge on up-to-date topics on the pandemic and crisis response.
