The Andrés Bello University (UNAB), located in Santiago de Chile, offers a diploma in Direction and Management of Digital Health Strategies.
Chile is one of the countries with the greatest advances in Digital Health, having various public strategies that involve new technologies in health. For example, they have telehealth units in several universities, with the Digital Hospital project, and with a network of interconnected hospitals to carry out teleconsultations.
In this way, the specialization of health professionals in issues related to Digital Health, such as Big data management and digital strategies, is necessary. For this reason, the UNAB offers the diploma in Direction and Management of Digital Health Strategies.
UNAB considers that although there are professionals trained to lead strategies, they are scarce in the area and in the coming years they will be in high demand, not only in Chile, but throughout the world.
The Diploma will allow students to develop tools and skills so that they can participate in the digital transformation process of health systems and care models.
The subjects of this diploma are: Digital transformation in health; technology at the service of strategy; enablers for DT in health; digital economy and health; implementation and management of innovation in health services: Class Health: Methodology for health innovation; Group PTO; and digital health seminar.
