The province of El Chaco concluded the training on Digital Health, in health centers and hospitals.
After barely a month of presenting the Digital Health Program, the Ministry of Health of the province of El Chaco, conducted training for agents of health centers and hospitals. This is part of the Digital Health and Strategic Information Management Training course. The province's strategy is to have more than 500 health agents trained through the recently implemented Digital Health Program.
The first module of this series of courses concluded at the end of June and will continue in August, so that by the end of the year the final goal will be met. On the other hand, the Digital Health Program is part of the 2030 Strategic Health Plan, which is supported by the FEIAS Foundation, which is the organization in charge of teaching the courses.
The objective of the strategy is to provide efficient and quality health services in the province, based on digital tools, data and measurements. Likewise, the courses fulfill the purpose of contributing to the digital literacy of health personnel and promoting the use of new technologies and digital tools that improve the health system.
During the rest of the year the ministry will carry out training in:
- digital skills;
- Change management for the adoption of digital tools;
- Support systems for clinical and health management;
- Strategic use of information for health care;
- and Digital Health Regulatory Framework
Additionally, another training program in Telemedicine will be carried out, but this time by the Garrahan Foundation. The objective is that by 2023 the 50% of the public health establishments in El Chaco offer telemedicine services.
It should be noted that to carry out this program, the province of El Chaco has invested 1.4 billion pesos in networks and connectivity, equipment and training courses.
