That is why the International Telecommunications Union (ITU), in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO), has proposed to pay attention to Artificial Intelligence for the health area.

Their purpose is to establish a standardized evaluation framework for methods based on Artificial Intelligence and thus evaluate how it improves decision making during diagnosis, treatment and triage.

The focus group of Artificial Intelligence stands for: FG-AI4 (Focus Group Artificial Intelligence for Health). It was established by ITU-T Study Group 16 at its meeting in Ljubljana, Slovenia, from July 9 to 20, 2018.
