Universidad Internacional de Valencia publishes report with the 10 most relevant trends in Digital Health

Digital Health is the activity currently developed with the aim of offering quality services and continuous improvement ins health. The following report seeks to extend the context in which new technologies coexist with public health and the benefits of it.

Over the time, the way that social activities are carried out, have been transformed, because in each age, the needs change and new methods are needed, that adapts to the effectiveness that need to be covered for user satisfaction.

In the field of health, discoveries and inventions have emerged and now, the technology that prevail in these times, has requested advances and innovations using new ITCs to improve health services.

Currently there are two terms used in Digital Health: Digital Health (that encompasses all health services, such as telemedicine so specializations such as cardiology or dermatology can operate in digital platforms that eases the inflow of information and results), and Mobile Health, (which is within Digital Health and encompasses those devices, sensors, such as wearables or mobile phones to check medical information instantly.

This scenario represents a synergy between doctors and machines to be partners in optimizing health services and focusing equally on improving their quality. The incorporation of these new technologies in health centers and hospitals should be a constant in the daily work for enduring training and continuous development.

The set of knowledge and techniques developed with science and technology leads medical reality to follow the following health schemes:
