App launched in the UK offer information and COVID-19 symptoms checking

COVID-19 Care Assistant, allow the users to record their symptoms and offer medical attention and advice if they are suspected cases of COVID-19

The symptoms checker is a separated section of its central application, that uses AI to provide telemedicine services. Therefore, the current COVID-19 version, offers a live chat with professionals, to a more accurate evaluation.

People who test positive for COVID-19 are given a National Health Service (NHS) referral treatment plan, and are asked to record their symptoms to learn about the disease's progression in their bodies.

Recommendations include information on self-isolation, which is recommended for all people who show symptoms of COVID-19. People with serious complications, are asked to see their doctor immediately.

“The combination of our technology and clinical service allows our doctors and nurses to use their time for the most suited tasks, whilst amplifying their expertise for the benefit of all our patients” explained Ali Parsa, Babylon CEO, company that provides Digital Health services in Europe. Asia and Africa.

Currently the app is only available for UK users, but they say that it will be available son to users worldwide.
