Doc.com: An app developed by Mexicans for psychological care

This app provides medical and psychological care 24 hours a day.

In recent years, a number of telemedicine platforms for mobile phones have emerged that provide care in various medical specialties. Doc.com is one of these new platforms, unlike this app also specializes in the mental health of users, offering virtual psychological care.

Javier Chacón, visual information designer, in conjunction with his team, developed a model of therapeutic care that was effective when applied remotely. After starting as a tele psychology platform, they subsequently added the option to provide medical care with a general practitioner.

Among its services are the option to receive psychological therapy through video call, as well as prescriptions or treatments that the professional sends to the patient via email. One of the essential aspects of this application is the speed in the service since they do not have appointment system, the service is available all day.

So far Doc.com has provided more than 200,000 attentions on psychological and medical care in more than 20 countries. The app is available for mobile devices through Google Play and the App Store.
