The Electronic Medical Record (HCE) presented in Uruguay by the Ministry of Health and the Agency for Electronic Government and Information and Knowledge Society (Agesic), is practically within reach of the entire population.
“My Digital Medical History” is the name of this electronic platform launched by the government through its official website perfil.gub.uy.
The method involves logging in and registering using the chip embedded in the new digital ID card, in order to verify each patient's identity. Once logged in, users can access the software interface and view records of every medical visit and treatment they have received at any health center.
The application is divided as follows:
