National Center for Health Information Systems (CENS) in Chile will test Digital Health solutions.

The National Center for Health Information Systems (CENS) chooses three startups to manufacture devices that detect diseases, select treatments and follow-up through Digital Health.

In Chile, a competition was held to choose startups that offer innovative Digital Health solutions.

The CENS and the Ministry of Health and Government Laboratory (Labgob) organized an event in which different pints were evaluated such as the impact in public services and their incidence in patients so they can access easily and without restrictions.

ICTs advances were a critical topic to consider the development and performance of the recognized apps. These platforms were:

  • Footshot: detects ulcer risks and assess zones through a thermal chamber, that detect anomalies in the foot sole, and treat some conditions without spending resources on transfers.   http://www.footshot.cl/

 

  • Toraxia: Evaluate thorax radiographies through programed algorithms and detects severe issues in order to attend patients in time and improve quality results.   http://www.alumbra.ai/toraxia/

 

  • eHealthCare: Based on AI and internet of things, it speeds up and ease the registration process by collecting data such as vital signs, presumptive clinical diagnosis, and medical attention through telemedicine.   https://www.eertriage.com/

Every digital platform is compatible with information systems, like FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources), which is incorporated to be able to synchronize any data and be available at any health center at all time.
