The postgraduate course in Digital Health at the University of Buenos Aires will begin on April 21

On April 21, the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) through the Observatory of Law and Health, will begin this novel field of intersection between Health, Technologies and Rights for the creation of appropriate regulatory instruments in Digital Health.

On April 21 of this year, the Digital Health Update Program, organized by the UBA's Faculty of Law of the, will begin. This is a distance education program through digital platforms, with a course load of 128 hours divided into 13 modules on different topics related to digital health, telehealth, mobile health, legal transformation, among others. The Law and Health Observatory of the Faculty of Law, seeks that through education related to Digital Health it is possible to develop appropriate regulatory frameworks that guarantee the right to health for all citizens.

“In this perspective, the Law and Health Observatory of the Office of Studies, Accreditation and Certification in Digital Health of the UBA Law School, organizes an academic program of interdisciplinary training to update the education of graduates in different disciplinary areas related to Digital Health that incorporate knowledge in a current and novel field of knowledge, which requires theoretical debates and that relies for this purpose on the main referents in the field,” the university explains.

The objective of the Digital Health Update Program is “to develop a new professional profile aligned with the new trends in the digital health sector and its transformation, focusing on the analysis of related topics from a holistic approach”.

Through the 13 modules classified into theory developments and four practical workshops, the exchange of ideas and dialogue among participants will be sought. In addition, the modules can also be taken individually, which means that the student can choose one or more modules without the need to complete the entire course.
