Google supports real time map that shows coronavirus global cases

The map, which uses My Maps technology, shows in real time the points where there are confirmed cases of coronavirus and the places that have possible cases.

On January 22 of this year, an interactive map was launched showing the countries where there are confirmed cases with coronavirus and the ones with potential infections, it also identifies the cities where human losses have been reported.

The map that is updated in real time marks –with a caution icon– Wuhan province, as the beginning of the coronavirus infection outbreak (COVID-19).

It has three other icons that set different situations on the map, a purple icon indicates globally confirmed cases, a dark red icon marks the fatalities, and a yellow icon indicates possible cases.  

Currently, the list of deaths includes 26 cities and countries, on the other hand, there are 71 cities and nations that have confirmed cases, as shown on the map

In the map navigation, it is possible to hide or show each of the four categories to ease its visualization, can also be inserted into any website with HTML, and has more than 25 million views so far.
