A portal to support diagnosis and provide information about COVID-19 was created in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua

The portal offers a self-assessment survey to record possible cases of COVID-19

The site was created to provide a virtual diagnosis of COVID-19 for people who develop symptoms and require additional information about care and recommendations.

Covidia, is the name of the platform, it was developed by Sergio Muñoz, graduated doctor from the UACJ (Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juárez) with a master's degree in Biotechnology from UTEP (University of Texas El Paso), and his team at InteliGene.

The questionnaire is made up of 30 questions, asking basic information such as age, sex, to health issues such as symptoms presented. In addition, it also works to look out symptoms and possible cases of COVID-19 among the population, and generate data on outbreaks in real time.

In addition, Covidia provides up-to-date data from each municipality in the country on: COVID-19 tests with pending results, the percentage of proportion positive tests/tests performed and the projection of confirmed cases to date. In addition to two graphs on the contagion rate x 100,000 inhabitants and another on the rate of application of tests.

It is not necessary to download any app to access the platform, do, just log directly from a web or mobile browser to the following website: https://www.covidia.app/

Originally the application was focused on users from Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, however, weeks later it was updated including information from all the municipalities of Mexico.
