The Central American Network of Health Informatics (RECAINSA) will remotely teach the Women Leaders in Digital Health training course.
The RECAINSA, offers this training program with a gender equity approach to encourage the participation of women and strengthen their skills in the health sector and in the digital technology sector. The three main areas that the course will address are leadership, transformation and Digital Health.
The course is divided into three modules that seek to enhance the capacities of the participants applied in health:
- Module 1 – Gender and intersectionality approach – Leadership.
- Module 2 – Digital Health: It will offer introductory content on Digital Health and informatics in Health; governance in Digital Health; tools on the formulation and management of projects in the health sector; and information and communication technologies in health.
- Module 3 – Digital transformation in health: Which will have content on the transformation process in organizations; organizational change management; organizational architecture and digital transformation in health; and entrepreneurship and innovation.
The program will last for 80 hours, which will be studied during 12 weeks. The course will offer synchronous videoconferences with the experts in each area, in total there will be 12 which will have a duration of 2 hours. On the other hand, virtual activities will include 48 hours, so that students develop academic content such as the development of workshops, bibliography review and other activities proposed by teachers.
The course will start on October 4 and the application deadline is before 11:59 p.m. (Central American Time) on September 14.
