Province of Santa Fe, Argentina will invest in telemedicine projects

The government of the province of Santa Fe, in Argentina, announced that it will make an investment in technological and telemedicine projects.

Officials from the province's Secretariat of Science, Technology and Innovation visited Diagnóstica, a startup dedicated to the commercialization of telemedicine software. The startup, which previously received funding from the Santa Fe Science, Technology and Innovation Agency (ASaCTeI), has as its mission the democratization of health care through the use of innovative devices.

Diagnóstica's work specializes in the development and commercialization of health technologies, specifically to improve and promote telemedicine. Even the project supported by ASaCTel was a project of smart clinics for the decentralization of health services.

In this sense, the Diagnosis project seeks to create various medical care points with high standards of safety and efficiency, and that also facilitate access to medical consultations through remote diagnoses.

“The strongest concept that we address from our secretariat is the 'Food and Health' axis as an added value. The Diagnóstica company is a pioneer in the development of applications linked to territorial strengthening through specific tools that improve the quality of life”, explained Marina Baima, secretary of Science, Technology and Innovation.

In this way, the province of Santa Fe could implement pilot tests that continue the objective of the Diagnosis initiative, and link patients and doctors using telemedicine and digital medical devices that make more remote diagnosis.
