The courses seek to strengthen the knowledge and competence of health professionals in various areas of public health.
Since its foundation in 2008, the Virtual Campus for Public Health of the Pan American Health Organization has managed to establish a base of 1.7 million users. The campus provides free access to courses for health workers to continue their learning in various disciplines or specific health topics.
All the courses are self-study and promote the self-taught education of the participants. In this way, users can choose a course and take it autonomously at their own pace, without a set date to complete them.

Self-care for frontline emergency responders

iSupport: Skills and knowledge training for those caring for people with dementia

Evaluation of health establishments through the Hospital Safety Index second version (ISHv2)

Comprehensive health of adolescents

Water, sanitation and hygiene in the Sustainable Development Agenda
Through ten hours of course, its objective is that the participants know the methodology and minimum requirements for the estimation of the water, sanitation and hygiene indicators of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) of the 2030 Agenda.
