Through teamwork, several start-ups gathered in Brazil to work on innovations and charitable solutions that digital health can offer.
The Federation of Unimeds of the State of Sao Paulo (FESP) created VITAL HUB for start-ups that develop in the field of medicine and use new technologies in order to strengthen their services, to propose alternatives for each health center and hospital in Brazil to offer optimal and accurate tools for the health care of individuals, always looking out for the interests and satisfaction of both the patient and the doctor.
This combination of tasks is called "hub", and its main objective is to bring together several specialists in a specific branch to share ideas and reach the creation of new strategies using activities such as talks, workshops, presentations, etc.
The plan is to generate interaction between executives and investors who are committed to the progress of ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) for a comprehensive exercise of health. Thus, all perspectives will be concentrated in one place, to work flexibly and take full advantage of all the proposals devised to improve the quality of the country's health system and incentivize the rest of Latin America to follow the same path.
Unimed's Superintendent of Information Technology, Mauricio Cerri, reaffirmed that it is hoped to "create an innovation ecosystem and take advantage of Unimed's framework to develop technologies that facilitate patients' lives.".
The FESP can be seen as a chain of contributions in the field of digital health using technical, institutional advice and the exchange of experiences.
