Mexico enters the field of Digital Health with greater force to strengthen the quality of public health services and systems that are destined for citizens.
Next November, in Oaxaca as a meeting point, the event entitled "E-health in Mexico: trends and challenges” will be held, where specialists from the topic will gather to share research, knowledge, projects and experiences that support in the growth of this practice in medicine.
The headquarters will be at the facilities of the University of the Sierra Sur (UNSIS) and aims to open the landscape of Digital Health practice in order to establish solid and strong foundations in Mexico and, in the near future, become reference of digital revolution focused on health throughout Latin America.
The relevance of this congress is established in the vision of using the new Information Technologies to potentiate medical care and offer ample access to health services and with this, to maintain a constant renewal of learning through practice and The investigation continues.
The pillars of this meeting focus on the implementation of public policies that regulate and open a legal framework so that Digital Health can be mobilized in Mexico.
Emphasis was placed on the application of new technologies as support for the doctor in exercises such as telemedicine, electronic medical records, the organization and exchange of medical information in a virtual way and the digitalization of all activities aimed at improving the quality of life of the patient.
