In the US, one-third of consumers surveyed did not use any digital health care tools prior to the pandemic. This speeded-up the growth process that had already been shown since previous years. 19% of respondents indicated that before the pandemic they had already received remote medical consultations or counseling prior to COVID-19. And 54% were willing to receive virtual health care.<\/p><p>The report raises the question: \u201cWhat could drive or stall post pandemic progress?\u201d Consumer expectations with Digital Health tools following the pandemic scenario have been generally positive, however, providers of this type of service will soon have to meet new quality expectations from users.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-ce6ca57 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default wpr-particle-no wpr-jarallax-no wpr-parallax-no wpr-sticky-section-no wpr-equal-height-no\" data-id=\"ce6ca57\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-99c4ae3\" data-id=\"99c4ae3\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-428314c elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"428314c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>One of the issues that matters most to consumers is the privacy of their data and the security of the platforms. The recommendations explained in the report relate to the creation of services that digitize patient health information, understanding the needs of the consumer. Another of the recommendations relates to cultural and sociodemographic relationships, Digital Health companies must understand these wide variations in order to try to close gaps and make more patients have access to such services.<\/p><p>Finally, the hospital sociodemographic figure represents greater safety for users, when it comes to an organization managing health data such as electronic clinical records, with 84%, contrary to technology companies where only 45% of them would be trusted by their clinical and health data. Lo que lleg\u00f3 a acelerar un proceso de crecimiento que ya se hab\u00eda mostrado desde a\u00f1os anteriores. El 19% de los encuestados indicaron que antes de la pandemia ya hab\u00edan recibido consultas o asesor\u00eda m\u00e9dica a distancia antes del COVID-19. Y el 54% estaba dispuesto a recibir atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica virtual. El informe se plantea la pregunta: &#8220;\u00bfQue podr\u00eda impulsar o detener el progreso despu\u00e9s de la pandemia?&#8221;. Las expectativas del consumidor con las herramientas de Salud Digital tras el escenario de la pandemia han sido positiva en general, sin embargo, los proveedores de este tipo de servicios pronto deber\u00e1n cumplir nuevas expectativas de calidad por parte de los usuarios. Uno de los temas que m\u00e1s importa a los consumidores es la privacidad de sus datos y la seguridad de las plataformas. Las recomendaciones que se explican en el informe, est\u00e1n relacionadas a la creaci\u00f3n de servicios que digitalicen la informaci\u00f3n en salud de los pacientes, entendiendo las necesidades del consumidor. Otra de las recomendaciones se relaciona con las relaciones culturales y sociodemogr\u00e1ficas, las compa\u00f1\u00edas de Salud Digital deben entender estas variaciones tan amplias para intentar cerrar brechas y lograr que m\u00e1s pacientes tengan acceso a este tipo de servicios. Por \u00faltimo, la figura de sociodemogr\u00e1ficos hospitales representa mayor seguridad para los usuarios, cuando se trata de que una organizaci\u00f3n administre los datos de salud por ejemplo expedientes cl\u00ednicos electr\u00f3nicos, con un 84%, caso contrario a las compa\u00f1\u00edas de tecnolog\u00eda en las que solo el 45% de los confiar\u00edan sus datos cl\u00ednicos y de salud. Sin embargo, es entre los grupos de edad m\u00e1s j\u00f3venes donde se da mayor aceptaci\u00f3n a las compa\u00f1\u00edas tecnol\u00f3gicas en el manejo de datos pues el 43% de los Millennials (nacidos entre 1981 y 1996) conf\u00edan en los servicios de salud digital ofrecidos por estas compa\u00f1\u00edas.
