Peru has a telehealth system, which includes teleconsultas in various specialties, delivery of medicines to patients' homes, use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) for the administration and management of hospitals and medical centers, among others.<\/p>

This project considers an investment of more than 200 million soles (56.6 USD), and the 4,135 health facilities contemplated are expected to have the equipment agreed for the year 2021.<\/p>

In addition, Cateriano indicated that the plan also proposed adding 2,49 health facilities (EESS) to the Electronic Health Record (EHR), therefore improving patient information management. Per\u00fa cuenta con un sistema de telesalud, que incluye teleconsultas en diversas especialidades, entrega de medicinas a los domicilios de los pacientes, utilizaci\u00f3n de Tecnolog\u00edas de la Informaci\u00f3n y Comunicaci\u00f3n (TIC) para la administraci\u00f3n y gesti\u00f3n de hospitales y centros m\u00e9dicos, entre otras. Este proyecto considera una inversi\u00f3n de m\u00e1s de 200 millones de soles, y se espera que los 4,135 establecimientos de salud contemplados, cuenten con el equipamiento acordado para el a\u00f1o de 2021. Adem\u00e1s, Cateriano indic\u00f3 que dentro del plan tambi\u00e9n se propone a\u00f1adir 2 mil 49 establecimientos de salud (EESS) al sistema de la historia cl\u00ednica electr\u00f3nica (HCE), y as\u00ed mejorar la gesti\u00f3n de informaci\u00f3n de los pacientes.
