THE ISSSTE was endorsed by the board of directors to make an investment of 5,389 million pesos to equip 140 medical units. This investment seeks to expand and restructure hospital equipment and infrastructure that has been used for more than 50 years.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

In this way, as part of the strengthening of the health infrastructure, the Telemedicine system will have 174 new equipment for the strengthening of remote care, through teleconsultes in 15 of the specialties and sub specialties with the greatest demand: cardiology, neurology, urology, traumatology and orthopedics, gynecology, ophthalmology, internal medicine, dermatology, otolaryngology, medical and surgical oncology, hematology, gastroenterology and rheumatology.<\/p>

Prior to the restructuring, ISSSTE had 174 telemedicine equipment, and the projection was to reach 355 teams in two years, so the projection is close to being fulfilled. In July 2019, it was announced that THE ISSSTE telemedicine system and the training by this institute to the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) was announced in the implementation of its telemedicine service.<\/p>

El Instituto de Seguridad y Servicios Sociales de los Trabajadores del Estado (ISSSTE), fortaleci\u00f3 el sistema de primer nivel de atenci\u00f3n, incluyendo los servicios de telemedicina. El ISSSTE obtuvo el aval de la junta directiva para realizar una inversi\u00f3n de 5 mil 389 millones de pesos para equipar 140 unidades m\u00e9dicas. Esta inversi\u00f3n busca ampliar y reestructurar equipamiento e infraestructura hospitalaria que ha sido utilizado por m\u00e1s de 50 a\u00f1os. De esta manera, como parte del fortalecimiento de la infraestructura de salud, el sistema de Telemedicina contar\u00e1 con 174 nuevos equipos para el fortalecimiento de la atenci\u00f3n remota, a trav\u00e9s de teleconsultas en 15 de las especialidades y sub especialidades con mayor demanda: cardiolog\u00eda, neurolog\u00eda, urolog\u00eda, traumatolog\u00eda y ortopedia, ginecolog\u00eda, oftalmolog\u00eda, medicina interna, dermatolog\u00eda, otorrinolaringolog\u00eda, oncolog\u00eda m\u00e9dica y quir\u00fargica, hematolog\u00eda, psiquiatr\u00eda, gastroenterolog\u00eda y reumatolog\u00eda. Esta mejora planea brindar mejores servicios a derechohabientes que habitan en localidades lejanas ya que vincular\u00e1n sus centros m\u00e9dicos con 14 Hospitales Regionales y con el Centro M\u00e9dico Nacional (CMN) 20 de noviembre. Antes de la reestructuraci\u00f3n el ISSSTE contaba con 174 equipos de telemedicina, y la proyecci\u00f3n era llegar a 355 equipos en dos a\u00f1os, por lo que la proyecci\u00f3n est\u00e1 cerca de cumplirse. En julio de 2019, se anunci\u00f3 el relanzamiento del sistema de Telemedicina del ISSSTE y la capacitaci\u00f3n por parte de este instituto al Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social (IMSS), en la implementaci\u00f3n de su servicio de telemedicina.
