Researchers at Yale University in Connecticut, USA presented research on possible treatment for obesity, published in Nature Communications<\/em> in January 2020.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Fat cells are covered by molecules that control cellular access for nutrients and lipid output. In a healthy person, incoming and outgoing traffic is balanced, in people who are obese and overweight these cells have opened up the entrance too much, so they manage to enter carbohydrates without first burning lipids, which leads to the growth of visceral fat cells in the abdomen.<\/p>

Research shows that scientists have found the molecular regulator for these cells. The fat drop regulator is an enzyme called O-GIcNac (OGT). When testing with mice, those who lacked this enzyme were thin and showed a reduction in the size of their fat cells, and also performed the process of burning lipids instead of consuming more carbohydrates. On the other hand, overexpression of OGT in mice increased carbohydrate intake and led to obesity.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Cient\u00edficos encontraron reguladores celulares que podr\u00edan utilizarse para tratamientos contra la obesidad. Investigadores de la Universidad de Yale en Connecticut, Estados Unidos presentaron una investigaci\u00f3n sobre un posible tratamiento para la obesidad, fue publicado en Nature Communications en enero del 2020. Las c\u00e9lulas grasas est\u00e1n cubiertas por mol\u00e9culas que controlan el acceso celular para los nutrientes y la salida de l\u00edpidos. En una persona sana, el tr\u00e1fico entrante y saliente esta equilibrado, en personas con obesidad y sobrepeso estas c\u00e9lulas han abierto demasiado la entrada, por lo que logran entrar carbohidratos sin quemar primero los l\u00edpidos, lo que conduce al crecimiento de las c\u00e9lulas grasas viscerales en el abdomen. En la investigaci\u00f3n, se muestra que los cient\u00edficos han encontrado el regulador molecular para estas c\u00e9lulas. El regulador de las gotas de grasa es una enzima llamada O-GIcNac (OGT). Al realizar una prueba con ratones, aquellos que carec\u00edan de esta enzima eran delgados y mostraban una reducci\u00f3n del tama\u00f1o de sus c\u00e9lulas grasas, adem\u00e1s realizaban el proceso de quemar l\u00edpidos en lugar de consumir m\u00e1s carbohidratos. Por otra parte, la sobreexpresi\u00f3n de OGT en ratones aumentaba la ingesta de carbohidratos y propiciaba la obesidad.
