Within the VIII Argentine Congress of Auditors and Health Managers<\/strong>, held in Buenos Aires, a debate was held about the use of telemedicine to improve the country's health systems and the direction they must take to better complement health care services.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

It was said, among many things, that this practice related to digital health must overcome the access gaps that are available to equip equal opportunities and conditions towards anyone in society.<\/p>

The key focused on questioning how telemedicine should be used and, rather than a health care tool, should be considered support that strengthens the work of specialists and not lose the direct doctor-patient relationship that is key to good symptom interpretation and follow-up.<\/p>

The importance of teaching this system from university faculties was also touched. How to raise awareness of the protection that experts should cover, once traditional writing methods (such as prescriptions and clinical records) are replaced by new technologies. These will officially verify signatures and leave less room for errors and possible mistakes.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Another prevailing point is the regulation of telemedicine and the control of teleconsultations to provide comprehensive medical care that provides security and protection to users through its methodology configured for greater accuracy in processes and results.<\/p>

Dr. Gabriel Barbagallo, President of the Civil Telemedicine Association of the Argentine Republic (ACTRA)-OSDE, pointed out that telemedicine is conceived as \"a tool that improves medical quality, provided that it complements and does not replace classical care. It's one more way to get to where there's no other way to get there in time and space.\"<\/p>

Finally, the National Digital Health Strategy<\/strong> promoted by the Ministry of Health was unveiled and which functions as an interoperable system which exchanges information that can be used for both the private and public sectors.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Especialistas del sector de la salud se reunieron para discutir el panorama que la telemedicina, dentro de la salud digital, dirige para mejorar los servicios m\u00e9dicos e implementar pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas que refuercen el ejercicio de esta pr\u00e1ctica. Dentro del VIII Congreso Argentino de Auditores y Gerentes de Salud, realizado en Buenos Aires, se gest\u00f3 un debate acerca del uso de la telemedicina para mejorar los sistemas de salud del pa\u00eds y el rumbo que deben adquirir para complementar de la mejor forma los servicios del cuidado de la salud. Se dijo, entre muchas cosas, que esta pr\u00e1ctica relacionada a la salud digital debe superar las brechas de acceso que se tienen para equipar una igualdad de oportunidades y condiciones hacia cualquier persona de la sociedad. La clave se centr\u00f3 en el cuestionamiento de c\u00f3mo se debe de usar la telemedicina y, m\u00e1s que una herramienta de atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica, debe considerarse un apoyo que fortalezca la labor de los especialistas y no perder la relaci\u00f3n directa m\u00e9dico-paciente que es clave para la buena interpretaci\u00f3n de s\u00edntomas y seguimiento. Tambi\u00e9n se toc\u00f3 la importancia de la ense\u00f1anza de este sistema desde las facultades universitarias. C\u00f3mo generar conciencia sobre la protecci\u00f3n que debe cubrir a los expertos, una vez que los m\u00e9todos tradicionales de escritura (como recetas m\u00e9dicas y expedientes cl\u00ednicos) sean reemplazados por las nuevas tecnolog\u00edas. \u00c9stas verificar\u00e1n firmas de manera oficial y dejar\u00e1n menos espacio para errores y posibles equivocaciones. Otro punto que prevaleci\u00f3 es la regulaci\u00f3n de la telemedicina y el control de las teleconsultas para brindar una atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica integral que otorgue seguridad y protecci\u00f3n a los usuarios a trav\u00e9s de su metodolog\u00eda configurada para una mayor exactitud en los procesos y resultados. El Dr. Gabriel Barbagallo, presidente de la Asociaci\u00f3n Civil de Telemedicina de la Rep\u00fablica Argentina (ACTRA)-OSDE, puntualiz\u00f3 que la telemedicina se concibe como \u201cuna herramienta que mejora la calidad m\u00e9dica, siempre que complemente la atenci\u00f3n cl\u00e1sica y no la reemplace.
