This transparency tool is available to the public with open data on the management of medicines and medical supplies in the country. <\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Paraguay's Ministry of Public Health and Social Welfare created the National Drug and Supplies Monitoring Center, a tool that seeks transparency of government data. The Minister of Health, Dr. Julio Mazzoleni announced the new platform as part of the transparency section that is at the service of the Paraguayan population.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Through the platform it is possible to know and verify the distribution of medicines and supplies throughout the country and can be consulted from a computer or cell phone.<\/p>

The platform is fully open and does not require any type of access such as creating an account or user and has an easy-to-use menu.<\/p>

The first option that shows the interface menu of this platform is National Distribution<\/strong>, which shows data of the total distribution of medicines and supplies in Paraguay with data from 2018 to 2020. Showing the total value of such distribution and the value per destination (hospitals, institutes, clinics, etc.).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The following tab provides information about Specialized Hospitals<\/strong>, for example, those belonging to the National Diabetes Program, or the Directorate General of Environmental Health, among others. This section lists all inputs used over the past three years in each specialized health service.<\/p>

The third section contains information on the distribution of medicines and inputs in each of the 18 Health Regions<\/strong> that make up the country, with data on the value of the investment in each of these, which also shows data from 2018 to 2020. In this way users can know in general how each region invested in the most and how these inputs were distributed.<\/p>

The last section corresponds to Higher Investment Products, in which it shows a graph with the 100 most distributed products in 2019, as well as the amount it represents. In addition, a bar appears to search for specific products.<\/p>

Esta herramienta de transparencia est\u00e1 disponible al p\u00fablico con datos abiertos sobre la gesti\u00f3n de medicamentos e insumos m\u00e9dicos en el pa\u00eds. El Ministerio de Salud P\u00fablica y Bienestar Social de Paraguay cre\u00f3 el Centro Nacional de Monitoreo de Medicamentos e Insumos, una herramienta que busca la transparencia de los datos del gobierno. El Ministro de Salud, el Dr. Julio Mazzoleni anunci\u00f3 la nueva plataforma como parte de la secci\u00f3n de transparencia que est\u00e1 al servicio de la poblaci\u00f3n paraguaya. A trav\u00e9s de la plataforma es posible conocer y verificar la distribuci\u00f3n de medicamentos e insumos en todo el pa\u00eds y puede ser consultada desde una computadora o celular. La plataforma es totalmente abierta y no requiere ning\u00fan tipo de acceso como creaci\u00f3n de una cuenta o usuario y cuenta con un men\u00fa f\u00e1cil de utilizar. La primera opci\u00f3n que muestra el men\u00fa de la interfaz de esta plataforma es Distribuci\u00f3n Nacional, en la cual se muestran los datos de la distribuci\u00f3n total de medicamentos e insumos en Paraguay con datos del 2018 al 2020. Mostrando el valor total de dicha distribuci\u00f3n y el valor por destino (hospitales, institutos, cl\u00ednicas, etc.). La siguiente pesta\u00f1a ofrece informaci\u00f3n de acerca de los Hospitales Especializados, por ejemplo, los pertenecientes al Programa Nacional de Diabetes, o a la Direcci\u00f3n General de Salud Ambiental, entre otros. En esta secci\u00f3n se indican todos los insumos utilizados los \u00faltimos tres a\u00f1os en cada servicio de salud especializado. La tercera secci\u00f3n contiene informaci\u00f3n sobre la distribuci\u00f3n de medicamentos e insumos en cada una de las 18 Regiones Sanitarias que conforman el pa\u00eds, con datos sobre el valor de la inversi\u00f3n en cada una de estas, que de igual forma muestra datos del 2018 al 2020. De esta manera se puede conocer de forma general en qu\u00e9 invirti\u00f3 m\u00e1s cada regi\u00f3n y c\u00f3mo se distribuyeron estos insumos. La \u00faltima secci\u00f3n corresponde a Productos de Mayor Inversi\u00f3n, en la que muestra una gr\u00e1fica con los 100 productos de mayor distribuci\u00f3n en 2019, as\u00ed como el monto que representa. Adem\u00e1s, aparece una barra para realizar b\u00fasquedas sobre productos en espec\u00edfico. Esta herramienta favorece las pr\u00e1cticas de transparencia en salud, y permite al personal de instituciones de salud p\u00fablica y a la ciudadan\u00eda en general conocer c\u00f3mo se distribuyen los insumos en todo el pa\u00eds y en hospitales y centros de salud de forma espec\u00edfica.
