Through this application,the government of La Paz seeks to track the symptoms of patients with possible coronavirus contagion.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The Departmental Health Service (Sedes) of La Paz, Bolivia, presented the WhatsApp chatbot<\/strong> of whatsapp for mobile devices, SamiBot<\/strong>, which aims to provide online medical care to people with COVID-19 symptoms.<\/p>

To access the chatbot, the user only has to enter the following link: http:\/\/bot.com.bo\/<\/a>. It will then provide a questionnaire on geographic data and the symptoms that the patient has presented so far. After answering the questionnaire, the system filters the user's responses and generates a link to offer a medical consultation online.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Ramiro Narv\u00e1ez, technical director of Sedes, reported that if the patient develops the symptoms of COVID-19 he will receive treatment. The protocol will be reviewed by a doctor to prevent patients from self-medication, to avoid complications that this may cause.<\/p>

In addition, Narv\u00e1ez explained the doctor-patient connection if it were a suspicious case. \"We're going to interconnect doctors from anywhere in the department with the people to ask questions instantly.\"<\/p>

The team has so far 200 doctors who will serve the population through this digital channel. Narv\u00e1ez said that they will rely on universities to have more doctors on duty.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

A trav\u00e9s de esta aplicaci\u00f3n se busca hacer un seguimiento de los s\u00edntomas de pacientes con posible contagio de coronavirus. El Servicio departamental de Salud (Sedes) de La Paz, en Bolivia, present\u00f3 el chatbot de WhatsApp para dispositivos m\u00f3viles, SamiBot, que tiene como prop\u00f3sito brindar atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica en l\u00ednea a personas que padezcan s\u00edntomas de COVID-19. Para acceder al chatbot, el usuario solo debe ingresar al siguiente portal: http:\/\/bot.com.bo\/. Posterior a ello arrojar\u00e1 un cuestionario sobre datos geogr\u00e1ficos y los s\u00edntomas que ha presentado hasta ese momento.  Tras contestar el cuestionario, el sistema filtra las respuestas del usuario y genera un enlace para ofrecer una consulta m\u00e9dica en l\u00ednea. Ramiro Narv\u00e1ez, director t\u00e9cnico de Sedes, inform\u00f3 que si el paciente presenta los s\u00edntomas de COVID-19 recibir\u00e1 un tratamiento. El protocolo ser\u00e1 revisado por un m\u00e9dico para evitar que los pacientes se automediquen, para evitar complicaciones que esto pudiera ocasionar. Adem\u00e1s, Narv\u00e1ez explic\u00f3 la conexi\u00f3n m\u00e9dico-paciente si se tratase de un caso sospechoso. \u201cNosotros vamos a interconectar a doctores de cualquier lugar del departamento con la poblaci\u00f3n para realizar preguntas de manera instant\u00e1nea\u201d. El equipo cuenta hasta el momento con 200 m\u00e9dicos que atender\u00e1n a la poblaci\u00f3n mediante este canal digital. Narv\u00e1ez coment\u00f3 que se apoyar\u00e1n en las universidades del departamento para tener m\u00e1s m\u00e9dicos en turno.
