To optimize this algorithm and obtain the desired results, it is necessary to train it through the massive collection of cough audios from different people. That is why since April collaborations were initiated with hospitals in Barcelona that enabled online platforms for users to upload their audio.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-c6fda11 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default wpr-particle-no wpr-jarallax-no wpr-parallax-no wpr-sticky-section-no wpr-equal-height-no\" data-id=\"c6fda11\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-2652822\" data-id=\"2652822\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c957b9e elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"c957b9e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>UdG, for its part, launched the <strong>\u201cCough with cause\u201d <\/strong>a campaign to ask for people support to collect the sound of coughing, regardless of whether it is forced, record it and upload it to the site in a process that takes less than a minute.<\/p><p>In addition, through the Civil Hospital of Guadalajara, belonging to the UdG, the cough data of patients taking COVID-19 tests will be collected to train the algorithm with data from confirmed patients.<\/p><p>Once trained the artificial intelligence algorithm will recognize the sound of the cough of a sick person and a healthy person. Para lograr el desarrollo de una aplicaci\u00f3n que pueda detectar COVID-19 a trav\u00e9s de la tos, es necesaria la creaci\u00f3n de un algoritmo. Para optimar este algoritmo y obtener los resultados deseados, es necesario entrenarlo a trav\u00e9s de la recolecci\u00f3n masiva de audios de tos de diferentes personas. Es por eso que desde abril se iniciaron colaboraciones con hospitales en Barcelona que habilitaron plataformas en l\u00ednea para que los usuarios suban su audio. La UdG por su parte, lanz\u00f3 la campa\u00f1a \u201cTose con Causa\u201d para pedir el apoyo ciudadano para recopilar el sonido de la tos, sin importar si es forzada, grabarla y subirla al sitio en un proceso que dura menos de un minuto. Adem\u00e1s, a trav\u00e9s del Hospital Civil de Guadalajara, perteneciente a la UdG, se recopilar\u00e1n los datos de la tos de pacientes que tomen prueba de COVID-19, para entrenar el algoritmo con datos de pacientes confirmados. Una vez entrenado el algoritmo de inteligencia artificial reconocer\u00e1 el sonido de la tos de una persona enferma y una persona sana. Es por ello que se necesita el mayor n\u00famero posible de grabaciones para definir c\u00f3mo es el sonido de una tos &#8220;normal&#8221; y c\u00f3mo es el de aquella persona enferma de COVID-19. Tras la recopilaci\u00f3n de informaci\u00f3n, y la realizaci\u00f3n de pruebas en las que se espera arroje resultados fiables, el siguiente paso es presentarla a la comunidad m\u00e9dica y cient\u00edfica, as\u00ed como a las autoridades de salud, para que su uso pueda ser aprobado. Tras esto el equipo del MIT sugiere poner a disposici\u00f3n de la poblaci\u00f3n una aplicaci\u00f3n interoperable, gratuita y de c\u00f3digo abierto.
