Fever is one of the symptoms of COVID-19 as well as other diseases such as gastroenteritis, influenza and thanks to this device it is possible to detect it a matter of seconds.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

For many experts, Artificial Intelligence (AI) represents the future of health and medicine, as it has several useful applications in various medical specialties such as the development of tools and systems that allow to diagnose diseases early, manage health systems or the creation of databases.<\/p>

In Brazil HOOBOX<\/strong> ONE<\/strong>, a company dedicated to facial recognition technology for health monitoring or for educational and security work, in conjunction with radsquare,<\/strong> a startup focused on Digital Health that uses the automation of medical processes using AI, they created FEVVER a device that thanks to AI is able to detect fever in minutes and measure temperature in seconds.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

To use it, the user must be placed in front of the device at the distance set by the marks on the ground. In case of wearing glasses, they must remove them, as well as the face mask, and look towards the camera above the device monitor and then on the same monitor follow the additional instructions.<\/p>

This project has been launched at the Israelite Hospital in Sao Paulo, placing the device at the entrance of the hospital to detect fever or high temperature in visitors. FEVVER is designed not only for hospitals, but for industry, offices, port and airport platforms and it is currently available for marketing in Brazil.<\/p>

In addition, FEVVER has a protocol to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and provide timely medical care to patients who need it. The protocol consists of three steps, however, prior to these steps, the monitor will display a questionnaire on symptoms of COVID-19 that the user must answer, after which the system follows the following steps:<\/p>

  1. Detects fever: Using AI through facial and thermal analysis techniques.<\/li>
  2. Generates notification: The system will send a notification with a photograph of the person with fever alerting the health team.<\/li>
  3. Through its One-Click system the equipment can update the patient's status after contacting the patient.<\/li><\/ol>

    Tools like this, follow the need to stop contagions by identifying potential people infected when entering an enclosed space, preventing chains of contagion.<\/p>

    La fiebre es uno de los s\u00edntomas de COVID-19 as\u00ed como de otras enfermedades como gastroenteritis, gripe y a trav\u00e9s este dispositivo es posible detectarla en segundos. Para muchos expertos, la Inteligencia a Artificial (IA), representa el futuro de la salud y de la medicina, ya que tiene como utilidades dentro de varias especialidades de la medicina como el desarrollo de herramientas y sistemas que permitan diagnosticar enfermedades antes de tiempo, gestionar sistemas de salud o la creaci\u00f3n de bases de datos. En Brasil, HOOBOX ONE, una compa\u00f1\u00eda dedicada a la tecnolog\u00eda de reconocimiento facial para el monitoreo de la salud o para labores educativas y de seguridad, en conjunto con Radsquare, un startup enfocado en la Salud Digital que utiliza la automatizaci\u00f3n de procesos m\u00e9dicos utilizando IA, crearon FEVVER un dispositivo que gracias a la IA es capaz de detectar fiebre en minutos y medir la temperatura en segundos. Para utilizarlo el usuario debe colocarse frente al dispositivo a la distancia que establecen las marcas en el suelo. En caso de usar anteojos debe retirarlos, as\u00ed como la mascarilla facial, y mirar hacia la c\u00e1mara que se encuentra arriba del monitor del dispositivo para despu\u00e9s, en el mismo monitor seguir las instrucciones adicionales. Este proyecto se ha puesto en marcha en el Hospital Israelita de Sao Paulo, colocando el dispositivo en la entrada del hospital para detectar fiebre o temperatura alta en los visitantes. Este es un dispositivo que con precisi\u00f3n evita el contacto con otras personas para medir temperatura o detectar fiebre, por lo que no comete los errores humanos que suceden usualmente al medir la temperatura. FEVVER est\u00e1 dise\u00f1ado no \u00fanicamente para hospitales, sino para industria, oficinas, plataformas en puertos y aeropuertos, actualmente se encuentra disponible para su comercializaci\u00f3n en Brasil. Adem\u00e1s, FEVVER cuenta con un protocolo para prevenir contagio de COVID-19 y dar atenci\u00f3n medica oportuna a los pacientes que lo necesiten. El protocolo consta de tres pasos, sin embargo, previo a estos pasos el monitor arrojara un cuestionario sobre s\u00edntomas de COVID-19 que el usuario debe responder, tras esto el sistema sigue los siguientes pasos: Detecta la fiebre: Utilizando IA a trav\u00e9s de t\u00e9cnicas de an\u00e1lisis facial y termogr\u00e1fico. Genera notificaci\u00f3n: El sistema enviar\u00e1 una notificaci\u00f3n con una fotograf\u00eda de la persona con fiebre alertando al equipo de salud. A trav\u00e9s de su sistema One-Click el equipo puede actualizar el estado del paciente tras establecer contacto con este. Herramientas como esta, buscan un freno en los contagios a trav\u00e9s de la identificaci\u00f3n de posibles personas contagiadas al entrar a un espacio cerrado, previniendo las cadenas de contagio.
