CAM has more than 1.7 million of peoples insured, so the program is expected to succeed so older adults can receive remote medical care and stay home.<\/p>

Through the Senior and Person with Disabilities Central and through the \u201cEsSalud te Cuida\u201d program, at least 1.000 daily monitorings are carried out through video calls, calls and messages on WhatsApp to know the current health of patients and detect discomfort they experience to provide prompt attention.<\/p>

EsSalud junto con los CAM han aprovechado canales digitales para continuar la atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica para sus beneficiarios durante la emergencia por COVID-19. Luego del inicio del brote de COVID-19 en Per\u00fa, y las medidas para la prevenci\u00f3n de contagio, EsSalud arranc\u00f3 el programa “EsSalud te cuida” que promueve el telemonitoreo v\u00eda telef\u00f3nica o videollamada del estado de salud de usuarios de los Centros del Adulto Mayor (CAM) de todo el pa\u00eds. Los CAM cuentan con m\u00e1s de 1 mill\u00f3n 700 mil asegurados, por lo que se espera que el programa tenga \u00e9xito y los adultos mayores puedan recibir atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica remota y se mantengan en casa. A trav\u00e9s de la Central de la Persona Adulta Mayor y Persona con Discapacidad y mediante el programa \u201cEsSalud Te Cuida\u201d, se realizan al menos mil monitoreos diarios a trav\u00e9s de videollamadas, llamadas y mensajes en WhatsApp para conocer el estado actual de salud de los pacientes y detectar malestares que experimenten para brindar pronta atenci\u00f3n. El Programa de Atenci\u00f3n Domiciliaria (PADOMI), que brinda atenci\u00f3n directa en el domicilio de m\u00e1s de 50 mil pacientes, tuvo que modificar su esquema de trabajo y atender v\u00eda telef\u00f3nica tras las medidas de sanidad y distanciamiento que se establecieron. Adem\u00e1s, PADOMI Delivery, servicio que desde el a\u00f1o pasado ofrece la entrega de medicamentos a domicilio en menos de 72 horas posteriores a la consulta m\u00e9dica, tambi\u00e9n actualiz\u00f3 su esquema de trabajo, pues las consultas son remotas, por lo que se emite la receta m\u00e9dica digitalmente y se entregan los medicamentos en el domicilio del paciente. Seg\u00fan datos de la dependencia mensualmente se entregan 34 mil recetas, situaci\u00f3n que ha continuado durante la emergencia sanitaria. Otra de las acciones de EsSalud y el CAM fue la creaci\u00f3n del programa CAM en CASA, donde a trav\u00e9s de YouTube se transmiten talleres virtuales.
