Health care starts from home and is a critical part for an early diagnosis of a disease and also for prevention. Digital Health offers innovations in the field of health monitoring from home through smart devices that aim to improve people's quality of life.<\/p>

Patients living with diabetes, or with some cardiovascular condition are familiar with monitoring from home by using devices and tools for measuring blood pressure or glucose.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

As is the case of the Biofourmis wearable oriented for therapeutic use in patients with heart conditions, or cancer, which collects information and monitors more than 20 psychological parameters. In addition, it measures the temperature, the level of oxygenation in the blood and in case of symptoms, for example, of COVID-19 indicates to a healthcare provider through its app.<\/p>

Current Health, is another wearable that uses AI for monitoring patients from home, this device is used by doctors preferably in high-risk patients, to offer continuous monitoring of their health status in order to take immediate action. By using this device placed on the arm, it is possible to check on a smartphone the identification of any changes in the patient's health, such as their pulse, temperature or breathing. In addition, it offers a video platform for remote consultations with a specialist.<\/p>

Recientemente la FDA aprob\u00f3 un dispositivo para el monitoreo de pacientes de COVID-19 desde casa. Los pacientes que viven con diabetes, o con alguna condici\u00f3n cardiovascular est\u00e1n familiarizados con el monitoreo desde casa mediante la utilizaci\u00f3n de dispositivos y herramientas para la medici\u00f3n de la presi\u00f3n arterial y la glucosa. Tras la emergencia sanitaria por COVID-19, la FDA autoriz\u00f3 en Estados Unidos varios permisos de emergencia para dispositivos no invasivos, orientados al cuidado de pacientes de COVID-19 para su cuidado ambulatorio o para su tratamiento desde casa. Como es el caso del wearable de Biofourmis orientado para su uso terap\u00e9utico en pacientes con condiciones del coraz\u00f3n, o c\u00e1ncer, el cual recolecta informaci\u00f3n y monitorea m\u00e1s de 20 par\u00e1metros psicol\u00f3gicos. Adem\u00e1s, mide la temperatura, el nivel de oxigenaci\u00f3n en la sangre y en caso de presentar s\u00edntomas, por ejemplo, de COVID-19 indica a un proveedor de servicios m\u00e9dicos mediante una app. Current Health, es otro wearable que utiliza IA para el monitoreo de pacientes desde casa, este dispositivo es utilizado por m\u00e9dicos preferiblemente en pacientes de alto riesgo, para ofrecer una continua vigilancia de su estado de salud para poder realizar acciones inmediatas. Sin embargo, m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de los nuevos dispositivos y herramientas en respuesta al COVID-19, es importante el correcto monitoreo de la salud en casa independientemente de los padecimientos con los que vivan las personas, para poder identificar enfermedades o condiciones de manera anticipada para prevenir complicaciones.
