It was created to promote greater competition around new software that provides effectiveness to digital health used in Colombia's health systems for social and economic improvement.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

In order to positioning itself as the Latin American leader in studies and public policies related to 4.0 technologies, the Colombian government has inaugurated the Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution<\/strong> based in the city of Medellin.<\/p>

The official opening event of the Center had an impact throughout the country and was attended by the President Iv\u00e1n Duque and Murat S\u00f6nmez<\/strong>member of the Managing Board of the World Economic Forum and the director of the Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR).\u00a0

The construction of this venue for new technologies was decreed in the last World Economic Forum<\/strong>, a summit in which Medellin was chosen as the first Latin American city. Other cities that already have a similar center are located in China, India and Japan, all under the same Global Network whose headquarters are located in San Francisco.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The intention promises the preparation of young people who can run for jobs in the tech branch and get better wages and job growth. The objectives of the Centre will always have social benefit and the maximization of economic performance in the main eye thanks to new technologies. All this is due to the same definition that Klaus Schwab, founder of the World Economic Forum, gave on the Fourth Industrial Transformation: \"the combination of digital, physical and biological systems for the transformation of humanity.\"<\/p>

The implementation of 4.0 technologies will only be the beginning in Medellin , since its mayor,Federico Guti\u00e9rrez, promises to create policies aimed at preventing and regulating the impact of the accelerated development of global technology.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

For such an effort, the Colombian authorities understand that an alliance with the private sector must be achieved. Some of the most prolific economic activities in which this new course towards the Fourth Transformation could impact include agriculture, chemicals, textiles, transport, security and surveillance. These efforts will also lead the State to improve public sector processes and the relationship between government and citizen.<\/p>

For his part the Minister of Industry and Tourism, Jos\u00e9 Manuel Restrepo, has clarified from the beginning the organization chart designed for the new technological center highlighting that \"there will be three people at the head of each project: the one that handles the issues of artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things. They can link academy or public sector actors who will be able to participate in these projects.\"<\/p>

Beyond the innovative and technological part, the creation of this Centre by the World Economic Forum seeks a human advancement. It is understood as a platform for ethical and social debate from which national and international policies that benefit people come. New specializations such as the Internet of Things and artificial intelligence are expected to propel Colombia as a continental benchmark in issues of advanced public policy and digital social service.<\/p>

It is hoped that, over time and continuity, this project will bear fruit for the creation of rigorous public policies based on regulating the ethical implications in the use of new technologies with the aim of creating adaptable and dynamic work environments with the cooperation of government and business.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Se crea un espacio que trabajar\u00e1 para promover mayor competencia en torno a los nuevos software que brinden una mayor eficacia a la salud digital que se emplea en los sistemas de salud de Colombia con aras a una mejora social y econ\u00f3mica. Con el objetivo de posicionarse como el l\u00edder latinoamericano en estudios y pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas relacionadas con las tecnolog\u00edas 4.0, el gobierno colombiano ha inaugurado el Centro para la Cuarta Revoluci\u00f3n Industrial con sede en la ciudad de Medell\u00edn. El evento de apertura oficial del Centro repercuti\u00f3 en todo el pa\u00eds y cont\u00f3 con la presencia del presidente de la Rep\u00fablica Iv\u00e1n Duque y Murat S\u00f6nmez, miembro del Consejo Directivo del Foro Econ\u00f3mico Mundial y el director del Centro para la Cuarta Revoluci\u00f3n Industrial (C4IR).  La construcci\u00f3n de este recinto para las nuevas tecnolog\u00edas se decret\u00f3 en el pasado Foro Econ\u00f3mico Mundial, cumbre en la que se escogi\u00f3 a Medell\u00edn como la primera ciudad latinoamericana que contar\u00eda con el prestigio. Otras ciudades que ya cuentan con un centro similar son China, India y Jap\u00f3n, todos bajo la misma Red Global cuyas oficinas principales se encuentran en San Francisco. La intenci\u00f3n promete la preparaci\u00f3n de j\u00f3venes que puedan postularse a empleos en la rama tecnol\u00f3gica y prometer mejores salarios y crecimiento laboral. Los objetivos del Centro tendr\u00e1n siempre en la mira principal el beneficio social y la maximizaci\u00f3n del rendimiento econ\u00f3mico gracias a las nuevas tecnolog\u00edas. Todo esto obedece a la misma definici\u00f3n que Klaus Schwab, fundador del Foro Econ\u00f3mico Mundial, dio sobre la Cuarta Transformaci\u00f3n Industrial: \u201cla combinaci\u00f3n de sistemas digitales, f\u00edsicos y biol\u00f3gicos en pro de la transformaci\u00f3n de la humanidad.\u201d La implementaci\u00f3n de tecnolog\u00edas 4.0 ser\u00e1 s\u00f3lo el inicio en la capital antioque\u00f1a, ya que el mismo alcalde de Medell\u00edn, Federico Guti\u00e9rrez, promete crear pol\u00edticas encaminadas a prevenir y regular el impacto del desarrollo acelerado de la tecnolog\u00eda global. Para un esfuerzo de tal magnitud las autoridades colombianas entienden que se deber\u00e1 lograr una alianza con el sector privado. Algunas de las actividades econ\u00f3micas m\u00e1s prol\u00edferas en las que podr\u00eda impactar este nuevo rumbo hacia la Cuarta Transformaci\u00f3n incluyen la agricultura, qu\u00edmicos, textil, transporte, seguridad y vigilancia. Estos esfuerzos tambi\u00e9n llevar\u00e1n al Estado a mejorar los procesos del sector p\u00fablico y la relaci\u00f3n entre el gobierno y el ciudadano. Por su parte el Ministro de Industria y Turismo, Jos\u00e9 Manuel Restrepo, ha esclarecido de inicio el organigrama dise\u00f1ado para el nuevo centro tecnol\u00f3gico resaltando que \u201chabr\u00e1 tres personas en cabeza de cada proyecto: el que maneja los temas de inteligencia artificial y el internet de las cosas. Ellos pueden vincular a actores de la academia o del sector p\u00fablico que podr\u00e1n participar en esos proyectos\u201d. M\u00e1s all\u00e1 de la parte innovadora y tecnol\u00f3gica, la creaci\u00f3n de este Centro por parte del Foro Econ\u00f3mico Mundial busca un avance humano. Se entiende como una plataforma para el debate \u00e9tico y social del cual provengan pol\u00edticas nacionales e internacionales que beneficien a las personas. Se espera que nuevas especializaciones como el internet de las cosas y la misma inteligencia artificial propulsen a Colombia como un referente continental en temas de pol\u00edtica p\u00fablica avanzada y servicio social digital. Se espera que, con el paso del tiempo y la continuidad, este proyecto d\u00e9 frutos para la creaci\u00f3n de pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas rigurosas bas\u00e1ndose en la regulaci\u00f3n de las implicaciones \u00e9ticas en el uso de las nuevas tecnolog\u00edas con el objetivo de crear entornos de trabajo adaptables y din\u00e1micos con la cooperaci\u00f3n del gobierno y las empresas.
