the citizen consultation project \"51 Priority Health Research Questions\" that will compile the most relevant questions and challenges to increase health in the quality of life of the citizen.\nThe University of Chile developed the project \"<strong>51 Priority Questions of Health Research<\/strong>\" which consists of a public consultation for citizens to propose questions and doubts that they consider relevant to be addressed by health services and that they have the possibility of being analyzed in deep research that generate proposals for changes in public policies.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section need to understand first-hand the changes and evolution in the lifestyle of citizens according to the circumstances that live in the country.<\/p><p>Chile has evolved strongly in health over the past 50 years, positioning it in the epidemiological profile of developed countries and expressing its interest in initiatives to improve the solutions they offer.<\/p><p>The survey aims to identify the scientific questions that need to be made on health-related issues, prioritize them, start a dialogue on them, and express opinions of the medical community, researchers, health professionals and class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The exercise began on August 19 through a publicly accessible platform where citizens can participate to draft their questions. The stages in which it will take place are as follows:<\/p><ul><li>From August 19 to September 30, 2019. <strong>Public Consultation<\/strong>: generate a series of questions prepared by society in general in order to be investigated in a scientific way. The capture of user doubts is done through a website available to seek mass participation in proposals during this first stage.<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>November 1 to 30, 2019. <strong>Delphi:<\/strong> is a structured agreement technique that is based on argumentation among experts through an interactive process. It seeks to be able to prioritize the questions collected in the first stage, reducing the amount of information, selecting those that meet the requirements and evaluating the most feasible ones to be investigated.<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>From 20 to 24 January 2020. <strong>Nominal group:<\/strong> reduction and prioritization of the questions obtained in the previous stage, through a participatory workshop. It is at this stage that the official selection of the 51 questions is carried out.<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>During April 2020. <strong>Launch of results: <\/strong>the return and dissemination of results is made through a booklet, informational material (triptychs) and its digital version through the various digital platforms.<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>The Director of Research of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Chile, R\u00f3mulo Fuentes, mentions that the <strong>advancement of science<\/strong> proposes new challenges and discoveries focused on the problems and challenges of health, this is due to the environment in which people develop and how their adaptation is rapidly evolving in relation to the resources that are provided to society. In an interview for Mega Noticias, he also adds that the health sector in Chile is targeting the disease control parameters established by the member countries of the <strong>Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).<\/strong><\/p><p>He also highlighted the relevance of the <strong>51 Priority Questions of Health Research<\/strong> project to generate strategies and diagnoses through the choice and decision of the public to develop relevant questions in the area of public health.<\/p><p>The structure of the project aims to collect information from a variety of situations of the different social groups, as well as their particular living conditions.<\/p><p>Once inside the portal, the form is filled out and the question that can be answered through research and scientific method is proposed (i.e. collecting data, experimenting and verifying). The important thing is to enter topics and group them by specific area and topic.<\/p><p>The end result is expected to be the creation of a document that could be included at the local, regional and central government levels to include scholarships, funding of research, the establishment of an institutional agenda to give preference to initiatives and funds for research applied to health. La Facultad de Medicina de la Universidad de Chile desarroll\u00f3 el proyecto \u201c51 Preguntas Prioritarias de Investigaci\u00f3n en Salud\u201d que consiste en una consulta p\u00fablica para que los ciudadanos propongan las preguntas y dudas que consideren relevantes de ser abordadas por los servicios de salud y que tengan la posibilidad de analizarse en investigaciones profundas que generen propuestas de cambios en las pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas. Este plan es el resultado de la necesidad de entender de primera mano los cambios y la evoluci\u00f3n en el estilo de vida de los ciudadanos de acuerdo con las circunstancias que viven en el pa\u00eds. Chile ha evolucionado fuertemente en materia de salud durante los \u00faltimos 50 a\u00f1os, esto lo posiciona en el perfil epidemiol\u00f3gico de pa\u00edses desarrollados y desprende su inter\u00e9s por iniciativas que permitan mejorar las soluciones que ofrecen. Con la encuesta, se persigue el objetivo de identificar los cuestionamientos cient\u00edficos que deben hacerse respecto a temas relacionados con la salud, priorizarlos, comenzar un di\u00e1logo al respecto y expresar opiniones de la comunidad m\u00e9dica, investigadores, los profesionales de la salud y sociedad civil. El ejercicio comenz\u00f3 el 19 de agosto a trav\u00e9s de una plataforma de acceso p\u00fablico donde los ciudadanos podr\u00e1n participar para redactar sus preguntas. Las etapas en que se desarrollar\u00e1 son las siguientes: Del 19 de agosto al 30 de septiembre del 2019. Consulta P\u00fablica: generar un bloque de preguntas elaboradas por la sociedad en general con la finalidad de que sean investigadas de forma cient\u00edfica. La captaci\u00f3n de dudas de los usuarios se hace por medio de un sitio web disponible para buscar la participaci\u00f3n masiva en propuestas durante esta primera etapa. Del 1 al 30 de noviembre del 2019. Delphi: es una t\u00e9cnica estructurada de consenso que se basa en la argumentaci\u00f3n entre expertos mediante un proceso interactivo. Se busca poder priorizar las preguntas recopiladas en la primera etapa, reduciendo la cantidad de informaci\u00f3n, seleccionando las que cumplen con los requisitos y evaluando las m\u00e1s viables para ser investigadas. Del 20 al 24 de enero del 2020. Grupo nominal: reducci\u00f3n y priorizaci\u00f3n de las preguntas obtenidas en la etapa anterior, a trav\u00e9s de un taller participativo. Es en esta etapa cuando se lleva a cabo la selecci\u00f3n oficial de las 51 preguntas. Durante abril del 2020. Lanzamiento de resultados: se hace la devoluci\u00f3n y difusi\u00f3n de resultados a trav\u00e9s de un cuadernillo, de material informativo (tr\u00edpticos) y su versi\u00f3n en digital a trav\u00e9s de las diversas plataformas digitales. El Director de Investigaci\u00f3n de la Facultad de Medicina de la Universidad de Chile, R\u00f3mulo Fuentes, menciona que el avance de la ciencia propone nuevos retos y descubrimientos enfocados a los problemas y desaf\u00edos de la salud, esto se debe al medio ambiente en que se desarrollan las personas y c\u00f3mo su adaptaci\u00f3n va evolucionando r\u00e1pidamente en relaci\u00f3n con los recursos que se proporcionan a la sociedad. En entrevista para Mega Noticias, tambi\u00e9n a\u00f1ade que el sector salud en Chile est\u00e1 dirigi\u00e9ndose a igualar los par\u00e1metros de control de enfermedades establecidos por los pa\u00edses miembros de la Organizaci\u00f3n para la Cooperaci\u00f3n y el Desarrollo Econ\u00f3micos (OCDE). En este sentido destac\u00f3 la relevancia del proyecto 51 Preguntas Prioritarias de Investigaci\u00f3n en Salud para generar estrategias y diagn\u00f3sticos gracias a la elecci\u00f3n y decisi\u00f3n de la ciudadan\u00eda para elaborar preguntas relevantes del \u00e1rea de la salud p\u00fablica. La estructura del proyecto tiene como objetivo recopilar informaci\u00f3n de una variedad de situaciones de los distintos grupos sociales, as\u00ed como sus condiciones particulares de vida. Una vez dentro del portal, se llena el formulario y se propone la pregunta que pueda ser contestada mediante la investigaci\u00f3n y el m\u00e9todo cient\u00edfico (esto es, recolectando datos, experimentando y verificando). Lo importante es ingresar temas de actualidad y agruparlos por \u00e1rea y tem\u00e1tica espec\u00edfica. Se espera que el resultado final sea la creaci\u00f3n de un documento que pueda ser incluido a nivel de gobierno local, regional y central para incluir becas, financiamiento de las investigaciones, el establecimiento de una agenda institucional que permita dar preferencia a iniciativas y fondos para la investigaci\u00f3n aplicada a la salud. Generar proyectos y pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas que puedan tener difusi\u00f3n a lo largo del pa\u00eds. Otro dato importante a destacar es que las preguntas que se ingresen al portal ser\u00e1n completamente an\u00f3nimas.
