The Ministry of Health of Argentina trained doctors and health specialists through videoconferences to keep them updated on issues related to diagnosis and treatment of diseases and the use of telemedicine, a field that encompasses the concept of Telehealth.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The Argentine Ministry of Health held a series of video conferences to support the training for health professionals in the use of telemedicine, which generates diagnostics and treatments through images.<\/p>

The events took place during the month of August, 2019 and were organized by the Directorate of Computer Science and Social Communication. These included spinal care topics, organ and tissue collection processes for transplant treatment, respiratory medicine, pneumology, and cardiology.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The trainings are part of the National Telehealth Plan 2018-2024<\/em><\/strong>, which aims to implement public policies that allow distance care of the patient and second opinions by different specialists and they have access to the same historical patient information generated by digital services in any health center in which they are located; improving accessibility, avoiding transfers and compensating for regional differences in specialties and resources.<\/p>

This project improves the National Digital Health Strategy<\/strong> which, since its approval in 2018, insists on improving access to the health system and increasing its quality by innovating processes and using new methods such as online shifts, remote care, as well as electronic prescribing.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Through ICT and the different platforms such as software and technologies applied to Digital Health, telemedicine is intended to improve the national health system and solve problems presented by patients due to the long distance between them and the health facilities. It will no longer be necessary to spend on transfers and users will be able to receive the appropriate treatments regardless of their location.<\/p>

The Hospital of High Complexity in Network El Cruce participated in the conferences. It was presented within the Situation Room and Video-conference Room of the Ministry of Health<\/strong>.<\/p>

El Ministerio de Salud de Argentina capacit\u00f3 a m\u00e9dicos y especialistas de la salud mediante videoconferencias para formarlos y actualizarlos en temas relacionados con diagn\u00f3stico y tratamiento de enfermedades a partir del uso de la telemedicina, un campo que engloba el concepto de Telesalud. El Ministerio de Salud argentino realiz\u00f3 una serie de videoconferencias con la finalidad de apoyar a la formaci\u00f3n de nuevos conocimientos para los profesionales de la salud en el uso de la telemedicina, misma que genera diagn\u00f3sticos y tratamientos por medio de la imagen. Los eventos tuvieron lugar durante el mes de agosto y fueron organizados por la Direcci\u00f3n de Inform\u00e1tica y Comunicaci\u00f3n Social. Se incluyeron tem\u00e1ticas sobre cuidados para la columna vertebral, procesos de obtenci\u00f3n de \u00f3rganos y tejidos para el tratamiento de trasplantes, medicina respiratoria, neumolog\u00eda y cardiolog\u00eda. Las capacitaciones son parte del Plan Nacional de Telesalud 2018-2024, el cual tiene la finalidad de implementar pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas que permitan la atenci\u00f3n a distancia del paciente y segundas opiniones por parte de especialistas diferentes y \u00e9ste tengan acceso a la misma informaci\u00f3n hist\u00f3rica del paciente generada por los servicios digitales en cualquier centro de salud en el que se encuentre; mejorando as\u00ed la accesibilidad, evitando traslados y compensando las diferencias regionales de especialidades y recursos. Con este proyecto se mejora la Estrategia Nacional de Salud Digital que, desde su aprobaci\u00f3n en el a\u00f1o pasado, insiste en mejorar el acceso al sistema de salud e incrementar su calidad innovando procesos y utilizando nuevos m\u00e9todos como la obtenci\u00f3n de turnos online, la atenci\u00f3n a distancia, as\u00ed como la prescripci\u00f3n electr\u00f3nica. Por medio de las TIC y las diferentes plataformas como softwares y tecnolog\u00edas aplicadas a la salud digital se pretende hacer uso de la telemedicina para mejorar el sistema de salud nacional y solucionar los problemas que presentan los pacientes debido a la larga distancia de los centros de atenci\u00f3n. Ya no ser\u00e1 necesario gastar en traslados y los usuarios podr\u00e1n recibir los tratamientos adecuados sin importar su lugar de residencia.
