Chihuahua is one of Mexico states that has stood out for having implemented telemedicine systems for medical urgencies. <\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The Medical Emergency Regulatory Center in Chihuahua (CRUM), was implemented as part of the Medical Emergency System. This system immediately assist the out of hospital emergencies and the emergencies that people require, through a video call.<\/p>

Thanks to the geolocation system, it\u2019s easier for the emergency services to know and validate the exact place where the call was made.<\/p>

In this way, specialists guide patients' pre-hospital care remotely during the time required by emergency departments to reach the requested location.<\/p>

Dr. Oth\u00f3n Ch\u00e1vez Gardu\u00f1o, a member of CRUM, detailed that the user only needs a mobile phone with navigation data or connection to a WiFi network to make the video call and connect with health professionals.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The current team working in this initiative is made up of three nurses, two medical specialists who are available 24 hours a day, a social worker and a psychologist for crisis intervention for family members.<\/p>

The CRUM carried out their first operation in September and as of December, 20 operations have been done, among which were different kind of cases, such as heart attacks, poisoning, women in childbirth and animal bites. \u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Chihuahua es una de las entidades en M\u00e9xico que se ha destacado por haber implementado sistemas de telemedicina para la atenci\u00f3n a urgencias y emergencias extrahospitalarias. Se implement\u00f3 el Centro Regulador de Emergencias M\u00e9dicas en Chihuahua (CRUM) como parte del Sistema de Emergencias M\u00e9dicas. Dicho sistema atiende de manera inmediata las urgencias y emergencias extrahospitalarias que la poblaci\u00f3n requiera, a trav\u00e9s de una videollamada. Gracias al sistema de geolocalizaci\u00f3n, es m\u00e1s sencillo para los servicios de urgencias conocer y validar el punto exacto en donde se realiz\u00f3 la llamada del usuario. De esta forma, los especialistas gu\u00edan la atenci\u00f3n prehospitalaria de los pacientes de manera remota durante el lapso que los servicios de urgencias tardan en llegar a la ubicaci\u00f3n solicitada. El doctor Oth\u00f3n Ch\u00e1vez Gardu\u00f1o miembro del CRUM, detall\u00f3 que el usuario \u00fanicamente necesita un tel\u00e9fono m\u00f3vil con datos o conexi\u00f3n a una red WiFi para realizar la videollamada y enlazarse con los profesionales. El equipo que est\u00e1 trabajando de momento con esta iniciativa, est\u00e1 conformado por tres enfermeros, dos m\u00e9dicos especialistas quienes est\u00e1n disponibles las 24 horas, una trabajadora social y una psic\u00f3loga para la intervenci\u00f3n en casos de crisis a los familiares.
