Digital platforms are committed to become the ideal channel to get medical care without effort. As part of their\"Ecuador Digital\"<\/strong>strategy, the government opened telemedicine platforms as a possibility of medical attention and strengthen their public policies on public system and services in the country.<\/p>

By introducing patients into digital world and platforms, healthcare can be done in any condition regardless of geographic or economic factors. This allows users to receive remote medical care and send their information to any other specialized center in the world to analyze their situation and feedback the process in a matter of seconds.<\/p>

Telemedicine is an active concept at the Ecuadorian Institute of Social Security (IESS)<\/strong>), the provider of the complete coverage for the people with less income or that have difficulties in moving trying to short that gap.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

It also was stated that telemedicine -as part of Digital Health strategies- will be presented through mobile device software, so patients who don\u2019t have the chance of mobility could get health care from their homes and prevent possible diseases by saving time and money.<\/p>

Connectivity is another important issue that worries Ecuador, increasing the network band so everyone has real time access to the features that digital platforms offer-such as scheduling appointments without attending to a hospital- through calls, chat rooms or virtual interaction with the medical center to get an immediate reply.<\/p>

Las plataformas digitales apuestan a convertirse en el medio ideal para recibir atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica oportuna sin gastar esfuerzo. Ecuador utiliza la telemedicina como recurso de la salud digital para mejorar la experiencia del paciente. Como parte de su estrategia \u201cEcuador Digital\u201d, el gobierno apertura plataformas establecidas para usar la telemedicina como posibilidad de atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica y fortalecimiento de las pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas que ata\u00f1en los sistemas y servicios del pa\u00eds ecuatoriano. Al internar a los usuarios en el mundo de las tecnolog\u00edas y las plataformas digitales, la atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica podr\u00e1 realizarse en cualquier condici\u00f3n sin importar factores geogr\u00e1ficos o econ\u00f3micos. As\u00ed, los usuarios podr\u00e1n recibir consultas a distancia y mandar su informaci\u00f3n a cualquier otro centro especializado del mundo para que analicen la situaci\u00f3n y retroalimenten el proceso en cuesti\u00f3n de segundos. La telemedicina es un concepto ideado como parte del Instituto Ecuatoriano de Seguridad Social (IESS), quien funge como proveedor de cobertura total de salud para las personas con menor oportunidad de ingresos o dificultades de traslado y que trata de acortar esa brecha. Sus programas brindan aportaciones a pensionados, afiliados y cualquier persona que necesite recibir servicios de atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica sin ninguna dificultad. Se precis\u00f3, tambi\u00e9n que la telemedicina -como parte de las estrategias de salud digital- se presentar\u00e1 a trav\u00e9s de software que puedan instalarse en dispositivos m\u00f3viles como celulares para aquellos pacientes que no tengan oportunidad de movilidad puedan ser atendidos desde sus hogares y prevenir posibles enfermedades por medio del ahorro de tiempo y dinero. La conectividad es otra cuesti\u00f3n importante que muestra Ecuador al preocuparse por aumentar la banda de red para que todas las personas tengan acceso en tiempo real a las funciones que las plataformas digitales ofrecen \u2013como agendar citas sin necesidad de asistir presencialmente a un hospital\u2013 por medio de llamadas, chat o interacci\u00f3n virtual hacia un centro que recibe todas las demandas y responde de manera autom\u00e1tica. La digitalizaci\u00f3n de estos servicios ya ha beneficiado a m\u00e1s de 2 mil personas a lo largo del pa\u00eds.
