Latin America is mobilizing to position itself as a reference in the transformation of health systems based on Digital Health.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Within the Peruvian region, the advantages of Telemedicine will begin to be used as part of the strategies to be implemented in all public health services.<\/p>

The Ministry of Health recognized the Government's participation in generating public policies that allow an improvement in the effectiveness of all medical procedures and methodologies. The telehealth services to be delivered will be provided by the National Assembly of Regional Governments and the Presidency of the Council of Ministers (PCM).<\/p>

To start the process of this strategy, health centers and their staff will receive advice through a campaign that involves videoconferences and information technologies that can link specialists with practitioners and thus increase the level of experience and ease of use of this innovative practice.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

It will also seek to expand broadband coverage - through the Ministry of Transportation and Communications (MTC) - in order to provide an adequate signal to connect to the Internet and enjoy the benefits and advantages that Telemedicine brings.<\/p>

For this, the Regional Telehealth Plan will include the acquisition of special equipment to manage resources and will be financed by the Comprehensive Health Insurance (SIS).<\/p>

Am\u00e9rica Latina se moviliza para posicionarse como un referente en la transformaci\u00f3n de los sistemas de salud con base en la Salud Digital. Dentro de la regi\u00f3n peruana, se comenzar\u00e1n a usar las ventajas de la Telemedicina como parte de las estrategias a implementar en todos los servicios de salud p\u00fablica. El Ministerio de salud reconoci\u00f3 la participaci\u00f3n del Gobierno para generar pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas que permitan una mejora en la eficacia de todos los procedimientos y metodolog\u00edas m\u00e9dicas. Los servicios de telesalud que se impartir\u00e1n quedar\u00e1n a cargo de la Asamblea Nacional de Gobiernos Regionales y la Presidencia del Consejo de Ministros (PCM). Para iniciar el proceso de esta estrategia, los centros de salud y su personal recibir\u00e1n asesoramiento por medio de una campa\u00f1a que involucra videoconferencias y tecnolog\u00edas de la informaci\u00f3n que puedan enlazar a especialistas con practicantes y as\u00ed, aumentar el nivel de experiencia y facilidad en el uso de esta innovadora pr\u00e1ctica. Asimismo, se buscar\u00e1 ampliar la cobertura de banda ancha \u2013 a trav\u00e9s del Ministerio de Transportes y Comunicaciones (MTC)- con el objetivo de brindar una se\u00f1al adecuada para conectarse a internet y poder gozar de los beneficios y ventajas que trae la Telemedicina. Para esto, El Plan Regional de Telesalud incluir\u00e1 la adquisici\u00f3n de equipo especial para gestionar recursos y ser\u00e1 financiado por el Seguro Integral de Salud (SIS). Cabe recordar que el SIS tiene como objetivo principal, el cubrir de medicamentos, procedimientos e insumos a los sectores de la poblaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s vulnerables con el fin de eliminar la brecha de desigualdad que existe.
