In the midst of the revolution that the new Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) bring with them, public health systems in Latin America are renewed with the aim of evolving the way in which they offer medical care.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Paraguay bets on the innovation of its health systems with the application of the technological revolution. With this, it converts the medical practices in public health centers and institutions into a digital format.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Thus, the Ministry of Health updates its methods by transforming them digitally with the help of organizations such as the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO).<\/p>

The country's decision focuses on turning the patient into the main actor of health systems through technological evolution that operates on virtual platforms dedicated to monitoring and treating the patient's health status.<\/p>

Through specialized care, it is expected to achieve a model of equitable integration that reaches the entire population and thus, reduce the access gap in order to prevent any latent disease.<\/p>

Within the national plan, the measurement of information systems to handle clinical data in a secure manner and ensure a protected flow of exchange between platforms is included.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The integration of information systems is critical for the planning and performance management of Family Health Units and Hospitals, facilitating adequate monitoring of people's health and monitoring of global health goals and objectives.<\/p>

En medio de la revoluci\u00f3n que las nuevas Tecnolog\u00edas de la Informaci\u00f3n y la Comunicaci\u00f3n (TIC) traen consigo, los sistemas de salud p\u00fablica en Am\u00e9rica Latina se renuevan con el objetivo de evolucionar la manera en la que ofrecen atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica. Paraguay le apuesta a la innovaci\u00f3n de sus sistemas de salud con la aplicaci\u00f3n de la revoluci\u00f3n tecnol\u00f3gica. Con esto, convierte en formato digital las pr\u00e1cticas m\u00e9dicas ejercidas en los centros e instituciones de salud p\u00fablica. Es as\u00ed que el Ministerio de Salud actualiza sus m\u00e9todos al transformarlos digitalmente con la ayuda de organismos como la Organizaci\u00f3n Mundial de la Salud (OMS) y la Organizaci\u00f3n Panamericana de la Salud (OPS). La decisi\u00f3n del pa\u00eds se centra en convertir al paciente en actor principal de los sistemas de salud por medio de la evoluci\u00f3n tecnol\u00f3gica que opere en las plataformas virtuales dedicadas a monitorear y tratar el estado de salud del paciente. A trav\u00e9s de atenci\u00f3n especializada, se espera lograr un modelo de integraci\u00f3n equitativa que alcance a toda la poblaci\u00f3n y as\u00ed, disminuir la brecha de acceso para poder prevenir cualquier enfermedad latente. Dentro del plan nacional, se incluye la medici\u00f3n de los sistemas de informaci\u00f3n para manejar datos cl\u00ednicos de manera segura y garantizar un flujo protegido de intercambio entre plataformas. La interoperabilidad, se volver\u00e1 importante para enlazar a todos los centros de salud y mantenerlos en la misma sinton\u00eda con respecto a la situaci\u00f3n de salud de la poblaci\u00f3n. Adem\u00e1s, para tratar cualquier caso en cualquier lugar y tiempo sin importar las circunstancias. Tambi\u00e9n las redes y la configuraci\u00f3n de la conexi\u00f3n a internet jugar\u00e1n un papel importante para que los resultados y las decisiones lleguen de manera r\u00e1pida, pues para el Dr. Luis P\u00e9rez, miembro del Banco Mundial de la Salud, \u201cla estrategia de transformaci\u00f3n digital que est\u00e1 desarrollando el Ministerio de Salud P\u00fablica y Bienestar Social de Paraguay, cuenta con un dise\u00f1o apropiado y significa un instrumento central en la modernizaci\u00f3n del sector al sentar las bases para reformas m\u00e1s profundas\u201d. La integraci\u00f3n de los sistemas de informaci\u00f3n resulta cr\u00edtica para la planificaci\u00f3n y la gesti\u00f3n del desempe\u00f1o de las Unidades de Salud Familiar y los Hospitales, facilitando el seguimiento adecuado de la salud de las personas y el monitoreo de objetivos y metas sanitarias globales. La cooperaci\u00f3n entre organismos y el intercambio de conocimientos, aunado al financiamiento y la asesor\u00eda, son el pilar fundamental para que el gobierno paraguayo emita pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas maduras con la intenci\u00f3n de ser m\u00e1s flexibles en todos los aspectos que implican la Salud Digital.
