Over the last decade, great advances have been witnessed in the field of technology. All industries have been involved and have undergone various processes of total or partial change in the systems that integrate them, and the health sector is no exception.<\/p>\n

In the area of health, the use of technologies has allowed health professionals to access tools that increase the quality of the services they provide, and one of these ways is through the exchange of patient information and medical records.<\/p>\n

Latin America joins these efforts and more and more countries are presenting digital proposals to improve health services. An example is the certification course in HIMSS (Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society)<\/em><\/strong> that took place in Colombia in mid-August of this year.<\/p>

HIMSS Analytics<\/em><\/strong> is a firm that provides market intelligence guidance and solutions that advance the industry with methodologies to improve health through the use and interpretation of information and technology. With the help of this type of digital tools, it is hoped that Colombian public health institutions can polish their methodologies and refine their processes to collaborate with other institutions in an orderly, measured and evidenced manner by exercising constant cycles of evaluation and improvement.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

That\u2019s why, the workshop will be held on how to implement the HIMSS Analyt<\/em>ics<\/strong> Maturity models to digitize the medical processes of different Colombian institutions and their relationships with professionals, patients and other health institutions.<\/p>

This workshop seeks to establish and achieve goals quickly and effectively for the treatment of patients, work will be done on the EMRAM model (Electronic Medical Record Adoption Model), in addition to the Infrastructure Adoption Model (INFRAM) and systems of different institutions of health and hospitals.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Through a description of the necessary requirements of each hospital, you can learn how to achieve a digital certification, and then present different models and processes that must be carried out for a digital restructuring of your systems.<\/p>

The Workshop is organized with the following curriculum:<\/p>
