The World Health Organization (WHO) presented the draft Regional Digital Health Action Plan for the European Region 2023-2030.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The action plan presented by the WHO aims to support the countries of the region to scale and promote the digital transformation in health, through investment in digital technology in the health system. Likewise, this plan responds to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).<\/p>

The Digital Health Action Plan identifies four strategic priorities to drive digital transformation:<\/p>

  1. Establish standards and develop technical guidelines;<\/li>
  2. enhance the capacities of countries to better govern the digital transformation in the health sector and advance digital health literacy;<\/li>
  3. create networks and promote dialogue and knowledge sharing; Y<\/li>
  4. conducting a horizon scan and landscape analysis of patient-centric solutions that can be scaled up.<\/li><\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

    Strategic priority 1 focuses on promoting commitment and awareness of Digital Health through evidence and good practices. As well as direct and collect evidence on good practices in the use of digital solutions in health. In this way they will be able to guide the development and adoption of new technologies that facilitate the various applications of Digital Health in the European Region.<\/p>

    The second priority seeks in general terms to increase Digital Health capabilities in European countries and promote the development of national strategies, governance frameworks, among other public health objectives in each country.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    Likewise, the third strategic priority seeks to facilitate and promote interregional, international and multisectoral collaboration, for example, by establishing a Digital Health alliance or council, or a Regional Digital Health Network.<\/p>

    Finally, the fourth strategy will seek to monitor emerging developments and trends in Digital Health, especially those that have the potential to improve health systems or the health of the population.<\/p>

    In addition to the strategic priorities, the document presented by the WHO lists the five guiding principles to guide regional action efforts in Digital Health:<\/p>

    1. Putting people at the center of trustworthy care delivered digitally<\/li>
    2. Understand the challenges of the health system, including health needs and trends, and recognize the needs and expectations of citizens and health workers<\/li>
    3. Recognize the need for policy decision-making based on data, evidence and lessons learned, while allowing for continuous learning, adaptation and innovation<\/li>
    4. Harnessing digital transformation to reimagine the future of health systems<\/li>
    5. Recognize that the institutionalization of digital health requires a long-term commitment and an integrated care approach<\/li><\/ol>

      La Organizaci\u00f3n Mundial de la Salud (OMS) present\u00f3 el borrador del Plan de Acci\u00f3n Regional de Salud Digital para la Regi\u00f3n Europea 2023-2030. El plan de acci\u00f3n presentado por la OMS, tiene como objetivo apoyar a los pa\u00edses de la regi\u00f3n a escalar e impulsar la transformaci\u00f3n digital en salud, a trav\u00e9s de inversi\u00f3n en tecnolog\u00eda digital en el sistema de salud. Asimismo, este plan responde a los Objetivos del Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS). El Plan de Acci\u00f3n de Salud Digital identifica cuatro prioridades estrat\u00e9gicas para impulsar la transformaci\u00f3n digital: Establecer normas y desarrollar orientaciones t\u00e9cnicas; mejorar las capacidades de los pa\u00edses para gobernar mejor la transformaci\u00f3n digital en el sector de la salud y avanzar en la alfabetizaci\u00f3n sanitaria digital; crear redes y promover el di\u00e1logo y el intercambio de conocimientos; y la realizaci\u00f3n de una exploraci\u00f3n del horizonte y un an\u00e1lisis del panorama de las soluciones centradas en el paciente que puedan ampliarse. La prioridad estrat\u00e9gica 1 tiene como enfoque promover el compromiso y la concienciaci\u00f3n sobre la Salud Digital a trav\u00e9s de la evidencia y buenas pr\u00e1cticas. As\u00ed como dirigir y recolectar evidencia sobre buenas pr\u00e1cticas en el uso de soluciones digitales en salud. De esta forma podr\u00e1n guiar el desarrollo y la adopci\u00f3n de nuevas tecnolog\u00edas que faciliten las diversas aplicaciones de Salud Digital en la Regi\u00f3n Europea. La segunda prioridad busca en t\u00e9rminos generales incrementar las capacidades de Salud Digital en los pa\u00edses europeos e impulsar el desarrollo de estrategias nacionales, marcos de gobernanza, entre otros objetivos de salud p\u00fablica en cada pa\u00eds. Asimismo, la tercera prioridad estrat\u00e9gica busca facilitar y promover la colaboraci\u00f3n interregional, internacional y multisectorial, por ejemplo, al establecer una alianza o consejo de Salud Digital, o una Red Regional de Salud Digital. Finalmente, la cuarta estrategia buscar\u00e1 monitorear los desarrollos y tendencias emergentes en Salud Digital, sobre todo aquellas que tengan potencial para mejorar los sistemas de salud o la salud de la poblaci\u00f3n.
