This type of remote care is related to health promotion, prevention, triage, follow-up, and even specialized care, all with the aim of achieving timely care for patients and improving the response from the first contact, thus avoiding unnecessary travel. .<\/p><p>In this sense, the report details that remote psychiatric consultations were the most used at the national level with more than 33 thousand, well above the 7 thousand 500 of internal medicine and 963 of surgery, the other types of specialty consultation more sued during 2021.<\/p><p>The progress of telemedicine and telehealth in Mexico continues its positive and accelerated path, since only five entities are not among the states that provided care through these modalities. El Observatorio de Telesalud del Centro Nacional de Excelencia Tecnol\u00f3gica en Salud (CENETEC) public\u00f3 el reporte anual 2021 de Acciones de Telesalud, en el que destacan un total de 8 millones 102 mil 465 acciones de telesalud considerando solo los servicios estatales de salud. Esta cifra incluye el n\u00famero de atenciones y sesiones realizadas por personal de salud capacitado. En cuanto a las acciones sin pacientes, es decir servicios de capacitaci\u00f3n y coordinaci\u00f3n a distancia, se registraron m\u00e1s de 680 mil asistentes para servicios de educaci\u00f3n remota y m\u00e1s de 273 mil para coordinaci\u00f3n de servicios a distancia a trav\u00e9s de 19 mil 231 y 18 mil 235 sesiones totales respectivamente. Estas acciones de telesalud son enfocadas a la capacitaci\u00f3n y actualizaci\u00f3n de conocimientos del personal profesional de la salud que principalmente labora en unidades m\u00e9dicas de la Secretar\u00eda de Salud Federal, seg\u00fan explica el CENETEC. Por otra parte, los servicios de telesalud con pacientes involucrados estuvieron divididos en diversas categor\u00edas, entre las que destacan: Asesor\u00eda m\u00e9dica a distancia COVID-19 con m\u00e1s de 1.3 millones de atenciones. Asesor\u00eda m\u00e9dica a distancia con m\u00e1s de 1.2 millones. Seguimiento de pacientes a distancias con 1.1 millones. Triage a distancia por COVID-19 con alrededor de 952 mil atenciones. En cuanto a las teleconsultas se registraron 71 mil 567 atenciones y 8 mil 807 tele interconsultas. Este tipo de atenciones a distancia se relacionan con la promoci\u00f3n de la salud, prevenci\u00f3n, triage, seguimientos, y hasta atenci\u00f3n especializada, todo con la finalidad de lograr una atenci\u00f3n oportuna a los pacientes y mejorar la respuesta desde el primer contacto evitando as\u00ed desplazamientos innecesarios. En ese sentido, el reporte detalla que las consultas psiqui\u00e1tricas a distancia fueron las m\u00e1s utilizadas a nivel nacional con m\u00e1s de 33 mil, muy por encima de las 7 mil 500 de medicina interna y 963 de cirug\u00eda, los otros tipos de consulta de especialidad m\u00e1s demandados durante 2021. El avance de la telemedicina y la telesalud en M\u00e9xico continua su camino de manera positiva y acelerada pues solamente cinco entidades no figuran entre los estados que realizaron atenciones por medio de estas modalidades. Una de ellas no report\u00f3 acciones, otra se encuentra en planeaci\u00f3n y tres entidades han detenido sus acciones de telesalud.
